  • Surprised how nice this looks and work at this price point!
Size: 40''x40'' Color: White Canopy/Pure White Bracket
It took a little perseverance to put this together, but the end result was well worth it! Looks great and I'm very pleased with the ease of installation. One tip, is to be sure to hang it high enough for the clearance of the door when fully opened with the curvature of the awning. Very pleased and would buy one again. ... show more

  • Well made and attractive
Size: 40''x80'' Color: White Canopy/Pure White Bracket
Had to mount this a little higher than I wanted to because of the middle vertical mounting bracket. But it does the job an awning is intended to do. Because it’s transparent light is not blocked and from the inside it’s bright. It is well designed and the white color blends in. Assembly is a bit time consuming. You need two people to hold it in place while bolting it. Very happy and recommend it. ... show more

  • Very sturdy once up and ya need 2 people. No real good instructions
Not very good instructions. You should have two people to install since its pretty flimsey before you bolt it in. The 80" was not quite 80" and it didnt come with all the screws. I recommend using packing tape to hold it together since the awning part tends to slide a bit and its in 2 peices with a plastic joiner in the middle . Once up theyre very sturdy and weve had some strong winds. Theyre doing exactly what was needed to keep the rain from the window and door wells and they look pretty good. I recommend making a cardboard template to level and drill the mounting holes . There are no instructions to what size holes to drill as the bolts are like a molly bolts that exoands as you thread the bolt into the sleeve. I had to make wedge type brackets to keep them plumb but its because I have a mansard roof thats on an angle, not a typical install. All in all they look good and are doing the trick. I bought 2- 40" and 2 -80" ... show more

  • Don’t buy! Panels warp and blow off. Seller no help at all
Size: 40''x120'' Color: Dark Brown Canopy/Black Bracket
These installed easily and looked and functioned well. The problem is that the panels are very flimsy and after one year they started bowing and eventually blew off in a wind. Contacted manufacturer and was told that they do not sell replacement panels and offered no help at all. I do not recommend these. They just don’t last. ... show more

  • Excellent value for money
Size: 40''x120'' Color: Dark Brown Canopy/Black Bracket
This is great value for money for an experienced handyman type, and I give it 5 stars because the value for money is just off the charts fantastic. It really is a great solution. HOWEVER, you need to know that many of the review comments are correct about assembly issues and apparent flimsiness, and I do think you need to beef up the assembly because then it can be a really robust product. Yes, this feels flimsy and cheap when you open it. Yes, the assembly is not strong. It is a 2 man job to assemble, 2-3 man for installing. The main thing is to beef up the attachment of the middle bars where I've highlighted in the photo. You need metal self tapping screws. Attaching to a wall takes judgment, leveling, savvy,... i.e. experience. The bolts they provide are excellent for brick or stone, but for other siding you need to figure out a solution. I am going to buy it again for a smaller exterior door. ... show more

  • Not an easy install if you get the 3 section one
Size: 40''x120'' Color: White Canopy/Pure White Bracket
Since the majority of homes in America have staggered siding / clappered style, I don't believe this is a good choice. It will work easily if you have flat siding, but other than that expect a very difficult install. Not just because of your style of siding, but this thing is a nightmare to try and keep together while placing it onto the house. Not to mention assembling it, sliding in the clear portions into the rails is a nightmare. When preparing to put it up on the house, I used a series of ratchet straps to keep it together so it wouldn't keep falling apart. What you save on purchase price you will make up for in labor if you have to pay someone to install this. I had a buddy help me, but three or four people would be much easier (again if you buy the largest size) It is very difficult to flash around it, forcing you to pretty much just caulk where the structure meets the siding. Very rarely will this be watertight or results in a quality outcome. It's been up for a few months, and we'll see how it handles the snow loads in the Northeast.... Just know you're getting what you're paying for on this one. ... show more

  • Nice Product
Size: 40''x120'' Color: Dark Brown Canopy/Black Bracket
Love the design and colors. When assembled and installed correctly, it's sturdy and relatively simple. Huge Tips, especially for the 120"---do NOT drill mounting holes in advance---read on... 1. caulk the channels in the brackets before inserting the poly sheets 2. assemble the entire thing promptly after caulking, make sure everything is square and no tension 3. let it sit overnight 4. drill ONLY a top corner hole on one side where it will be mounted 5. get a friend or two or some skyhooks and hold the unit where it will be installed and install the first screw mounting bolt firmly but still allow the unit to swivel around the bolt with a little effort. 6. make sure it is level and mark the other top corner, drill, and install mounting bolt 7. drill and install the other mount bolts with the awning in situ--- 8. put some backer rod on the underside of the awning where it mounts to structure and caulk across the gap from the top 9. DONE 10--OPTION--you COULD assemble individual sections and mount section---make sure the first section is LEVEL if so cuz any out-of-level will be exaggerated across the next two sections, and there is NO room for adjustment---it will create tension EVEN if you drill the holes in situ--- 11. the key is NOT to drill mounting holes in advance AND to be LEVEL---no matter how closely you measure, they will be off a little and that will create tension between the brackets as you mount them which shows up in the panels---the tiniest amount of tension is greatly exaggerated across the width and depth of the poly panels ... show more

  • A good small roof
Size: 40''x120'' Color: Dark Brown Canopy/Black Bracket
Received as promised. A little difficult for one person to assemble, but possible. I bought the 10 foot size. I then pre drilled the holes in the shed and had two other people help hold up the roof when I put the bolts in. (The supplied bolts were not usable in my application). I put in the top bolts while they held the roof in place. They held just fine until I had a chance to drill the bottom holes and put those bolts in. It looks good and does what I intended it to do. I would recommend. ... show more
