As pictured, these are very nice looking black and white marble peel-and-stick tiles. I wanted to upgrade the floor in my laundry room, which is in fact an enclosed garage with a standard poured concrete pad for a floor. What I learned is: this glue will do a fine job of holding these tiles down AS LONG AS you make sure the floor is clean and dry first. My first tile went awry because I didn't completely clear out the fine layer of lint that was on the ground that i didn't realize was still there... until I picked up the tile and found the entire underside COATED in what was on the floor for it to pick up with its glue! And here's the thing - the glue was still sticky on my fingers - but there was so much lint/dust on the flood that it had no chance to stick. My mistake. So I vacuumed and swept and mopped, let it fully dry, and then I tried again. AND BEHOLD - a beautiful upgrade to my laundry area. The edges fit together nicely, there are arrows on the peel-off layer backing the glue to remind you which way to orient all the tiles so the pattern is maximally pleasing, it's SUPER easy to peel the backing off and lay down each tile. If you're putting this down somewhere without a consistent single 100% flat edge for the first row, I recommend getting a really long really straight edge - like a 2-meter stick or even better a chalk snap-line - and using that to make your first line. After that everything fits together in the simplest possible way. But I can tell you from experience, you don't want to discover later in the process that something was just the tiniest bit off... that is the kind of frustration nobody wants on a DIY project. One box of 30 tiles contains 15 white and 15 black tiles and covers 30 square feet of surface area. These tiles are a tad over one millimeter thick - I think it's like 1.25 mm - so they're pretty low-profile and they shouldn't interfere with anything above them unless you're dealing with REALLY tight tolerances. These tiles are made of good thick material, we used them on a small area in our kitchen which fix to be a coffee corner and these tiles where the perfect addition to the walls making it look classy and like a vintage coffee spot. They've stayed up since we installed them which means the glue is durable. We only had one box so we were able to make half the walls but we will be getting the bottom half soon. 10/10 GOOD QUALITY

This is not the black and white checkered floor, this is black marble with white marble, just so you know. I think the packaging could have been just a little bit better, I did have a little bit of damage on the corners that really didn't show up until you butted the pieces together, but I did get it to work. I installed this on a concrete floor that was poured back in 1958/1960, and there was some type of coating on the floor, at old paint. But it was still stuck to the floor pretty well and it did not need to be scraped off. The tile I thought stuck pretty well, I had a spot here or there where I needed to use some super glue, but that's because there was a divot in the floor where the four corners met. But other than that it worked well. Was able to easily cut it with a razor knife, was even able to use a hole saw to drill through a piece of the tile for the drain for the sink. And it handled that pretty well. You're not going to be able to bend them too far, or a bunch of times before they break. I had the manipulate the tile to get it to go around the sink drain and it took about three tries to get it how I liked it, but it did not break and did not leave a crease. The tiles are 12 in by 12-in, you get 15 of the white marble, 15 of the black marble, and that's enough to cover 30 square feet. I ended up being about 5 to 6 squares short, so I'll probably need to be picking up some more. The surface of the tile is a little textured, and they are not shiny. The tiles are very flat in finish, not glossy whatsoever.

These look great! I love a black and white checkered floor, but these raised the bar for me. They look fantastic and offer more dimension than a plain straight black and white. The tiles are VERY sticky, so care must be taken not to stick them anywhere by mistake!! They can't be moved without ruining the tile. The tile is easily cut with a razor knife or heavy-duty scissors. Save any small pieces until the floor is finished. They can come in handy sometimes!

These tiles surprised me by their weight. They are certainly substantial and seem to be of good quality. The black and white pattern looks classic and I love it. I put this tile in my very small laundry room and just added a classic finishing touch that wasn’t there before. I had no problems installing at all. Went down and is staying down. It has been down about 4 to 5 weeks and still looks perfect. No lifted corners or chips or anything that shows damage. I am still very happy. My room is small, and it doesn’t get much traffic, but these are working great for me. Who knew ? Peel and stick can be the answer for a clean new floor, that almost anyone can afford.

What a great look and change in my laundry room. Easy to install and it gives the room a whole new look. Very nice quality and after a few weeks, still looking great. Easy to clean as well. So far so good. Still amazed how easy it was to install.
