Even though the included drywall anchors are not good, as long as you get two screws into the stud you should be good. I used two inch wood screws and it's more than strong enough to hold my 28 foot cord and EV plug.

One of the screws broke in half inside a 2x4 wall stud. Mount is fine, but hardware is junk.

If you are screwing into anything solid still pilot holes first otherwise it's great

The drywall anchors they sent don’t work. Of the 6 anchors two took hold while the screws on the others spun freely. After prying them out and replacing them with anchors I already had the mount works great.

This wall mount connector keeper was easy to mount. Even easier to store charging cable when not in use. We mounted it to the side of our home, next to the driveway and it keeps the cord safely out of the way when not in use charging our Plug-in Hybrid Ford Eacape
