I'd like to get into cut and engrave as hobbie. After some researching, I settled with LP4. No prior experence though I find it is easy to learn. Pro: - The design software is easy to learn. Its able to auto trim/remove backgrounds. Able to convert image to vector graphics. (LP4 only able to cut with vector graphics) - The machine construction and feel is solid. - The head is deatchable, which let you cut or engrave hard to reach spot. I also think it does those rust removal trick, but I have not yet experiment with that. Con: - The machine itself has bluetooth capability but it only works with cell phone app. The software on the computer needs USB cable to function. (A separate Bluetooth USB dongle for the PC is needed from LP) - The included design software is easy to learn, but its functions are limited. If advanced editing is needed, other 3rd party software is required. Some of them are hard to learn.

I've been using this engraver for about a year now and for the price it's been nothing but amazing. I haven't found a material that I couldn't engrave on without a little research. The system and software is fairly user friendly and is to use on my phone, tablet, or computer. The engraver itself is perfectly compact which is great for me who moves a lot, the dual laser system is very precise and quick. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and definitely recommend using it especially for beginners.

This is my first laser and it was very easy to put together and operate. I'm still working on using the rotary extension, but everything else has been very straightforward and easy to get great results. Would recommend to anyone.

The construction and packaging is excellent, clean lines and everything is machined & powder-coated metal and very sturdily built. Were I found fault with it was in their software and their claims that it works with Lightburn. One of their drivers never did load and a number of contacts with the company the only function in Lightburn i got to work was the "STOP" button actually turned off the fan. nothing else ever functioned and the service was no much help either, and since they are in China there is a days lag in any communication.
