I bought a used bench. All the nuts and bolts were there except for the tools to screw it in. I had to use my boyfriend's tools as there is no way I could have done everything by hand. Instructions appeared cumbersome at first but if you focus and not rush, you're fine.

The Marcy Utility bench has all the positions I need. It folds up compactly when not in use. This is not the weight bench you want for heavy weight lifting but I don't really want heavy weight lifting.

Great bench but why make things more frustrating and complicated then they need to be for the average person trying to assemble this. Other then a few things that can make assembly frustrating like tiny differences in bolt size (just make two long ones) and having to use two different size allen keys it seems to be well built. I assembled it alone in about an hour as far as i remember, maybe having two people assembling it might be easier and quicker. I'm around 180lbs 5' 7" and it seems to be holding up well so far. ... show more
