There are several good qualities to this product but it doesn't last very long compared to (another brand I loved that is no longer in business). The gel formula is very easy to apply. The color is pretty, but not as heavily pigmented as others. It doesn't exactly wash out, it just fades pretty quickly, and after two weeks I have a hankering to redo it. I'm used to 4 weeks and have even pushed to six weeks with (that other brand, may it RIP). I don't quite understand what makes this "professional." I have been using the red shade and I leave it in for an hour. I use it to cover my grays and give an overall sheer color on brown hair. I know "for best results" strip first, but other semipermanent colors do fine on gray hair without that step.

I picked this because it's UV reactive. I put black lights on my porch for the month of October. This hair color seems to glow in daylight. It don't really, but it's very bright. The magic happens under black light and it's pretty fantastic. I wish black lights were everywhere. I did bleach my hair first to get the brightest shade possible. It does fade quickly but all dyes do. I suffer the cold showers and dry shampoo for this pop of amazing color. The daylight photo on two week post dye hair. The black light photos were taken the first week post dye.

My hair hasn't been holding color long with either manic panic or artic fox so I tried this gel professional manic panic and it finally held color again! Love this. Gonna try another color soon

I've tried a variety of yellow semi-permanent brands. This one had the most vivid color, best coverage, and has lasted the longest. In the picture, I have the yellow on my roots, and this is at least 5 or 6 washes in. I should have snapped one when I first put it in, it was much brighter. I also applied it on dry hair, even though it said to use it on wet.

This was my first time using manic panic, so I didn’t know what to expect. The color pay off was great, and the price was a little cheaper than what box dye would cost me. However, it WOULD NOT come out of my hair. This is fine if you’re someone who keeps their color for a while or is okay with growing it out, but I like to change it up a lot. I did one full bleach job with 20 vol. And then I did a bleach wash with 30 vol. It DID NOT COME OUT. I understand that this is to be maybe a little longer lasting than non professional color, but I don’t trust anything that doesn’t come out with bleach.

This stuff works insanely well. I can't believe how bright it is! I bleached and toned it all the way up to white for a couple days before putting in the yellow and I am very impressed. I washed it out thoroughly with shampoo and Conditioner after leaving it in for about 45 minutes and still looks this bright. I just bought 3 more colors!

Very bright and bold yellow! Just what I wanted! My hair had been bleached to white prior to coloring (see 3rd pic, yes im making a goofy face). I want to remove more of the orange in front and add more yellow. Great product. Pics are after several washes too, no fading so far.
