Description

Wildfire Wildfire is a hot, reddish-orange dye that glows under black light. For best results, we recommend lightening hair to a very light level 9 blonde or lighter before use. 1. Wash hair with a deep cleansing/clarifying shampoo. Do not condition. 2. Dry hair with a blow dryer to make sure the hair is extremely porous. 3. Put on gloves and apply Manic Panic Hair Color using a tint brush making sure hair is thoroughly saturated. 4. Comb through the hair color to make sure it is evenly applied. The cream may become slightly frothy. 5. Cover hair with a plastic cap and leave on for 30-45 minutes. For more intensity, add heat. 6. Rinse with cool water away from your face and body until water runs clear. Do not shampoo. 7. Style as desired. To prevent color transfer or bleeding, always make sure your hair is completely dry. Pro Tip: Use a hair dryer to evenly apply heat for 5-10 minutes of your processing time. This will help to open up the cuticle and allow the Manic Panic hair color to better penetrate the hair strand. Make sure to allow the hair to cool completely before rinsing out color.

This was the first Manic Panic product I have ordered or used. When applied to my short hair it seemed far less vibrant and pigmented than the pictures. I was not happy with the finished result. After ordering a second jar, I now know what the proper product should look like and how difficult it SHOULD be to remove the safety seal under the lid. its like having fire engine red on my head, its beautiful. I bleached my hair to almost a white, using the virgin snow over that. that didn't do much but holy crap my hair is vibrant! I used this & a couple other reds & oranges & a yellow to give myself an ombre fire look that turned out amazing. sadly, it doesn't last long & my hair is turning pink in spots after 2 washes. (I wash my hair once a week) but since there's so much, it'll be easy to bring back that color. LOVE! ... show more

First pic is less than a week later, second pic is the same day I dyed it. Thought I was ordering a red but got orange. The colour regardless was nice while it lasted. Don't use purple shampoo on it tho (will make it go pink). It faded quicker than expected since the blue dream didnt want to come out but overall was nice. ... show more

From what I understand, my experience isn't the same as most people's but others have run into this issue so just be alert! I followed the tutorial directly from the Manic Panic team's YouTube. I put the color in, put on a shower cap, and then just went about my errands around the house doing some cleaning and watching TV. I left it in for a few hours, as recommended. And then I rinsed. The color is gorgeous. This is the prettiest, most vibrant red. The problem is that by my first wash (in cool water with a no sulfate shampoo), it washed out almost entirely. The second wash it was pretty much gone. I only wash once a week so...that was two weeks of pretty color. I would probably try it again but I think the problem might be the cuticle of my hair doesn't hold this specific brand well. It was definitely worth it for the look and the brand isn't super expensive. And a few Facebook groups tell me this isn't exclusive to me but that some people have this color last for months, so I'd say give it a try? My hair did feel incredibly soft after so at least it keeps in good condition! ... show more

I love this color so much.I wish I still had my hair this color.All manic panic products work so well. To anyone who is having problems,saying it isn't working well: It says to leave it on for like 15 minutes I think but don't.Leave it on for about 3 hours.I use a hair dryer after I put it on because heat opens the hair follicles.I also rinse it two times with vinegar and water about 40% vinegar and 60% water,and then I rinse it in the bathtub and I ONLY use conditioner.about 30 hours afterward I wash my hair like I normally do.Try not to use a shampoo with sulfate it strips color out. ... show more

Manic Panic has been reliable since I was a teenager (back when there were dinosaurs) as a product that stayed put while you waited for your hair to suck up the color Something went SERIOUSLY wrong with this batch, and I am concerned. Applied to dry, clean hair, it decided to continue to melt and drip even though I had placed a plastic bag over my head. I could NOT keep the product in place, and for something that achieves real brilliant color through extended coloring time, it was rendered almost useless.
