I was looking to replace my Pentair which was a replacement of the Polaris (both similar style but 3 wheels). THis has worked like a charm. When you go down the replacing parts route - you forget what a brand new machine does. For the price it was a bargain. It cleans the pool well. I did replace the bad with a 360 with zipper. The original bag will clog up super quickly because of the design. I get it they needed to design a bag different enough than the Polaris due to patents. Do yourself a favor and pick up a 3 pack of the 360 bags with a zipper (ease in cleaning). It is about $20 for 3 of the 360 bags. Out of the box it was easy to assemble and looks to be of good quality. Our pool is open year round so we will see how long it lasts, but I am hopeful. Also the price isn't prohibitive enough that in a few of years I purchase a new one instead of going down the parts replacement rabbit hole.

Great results! I have a pool with a booster pump and originally had a 3-wheel Polaris cleaner. It would always get stuck or the hose would get tangled and limit its reach. About a year ago I removed this and bought an expensive new “Wi-Fi” rechargeable cleaner. Mistake. Once your “Wi-Fi” cleaner goes under wanted there is not communication, so this is just stupid. This cleaner priced at over $1,200 never could get the dirt off the bottom or sides, so I was constantly brushing the pool. I bought this unit and it connected right into my connections and it has run for the past few weeks. It reaches every part of my pool, climbs stairs and has made the pool spotless. If you have a pressure-side pump and are looking to replace an old or ineffective cleaner, I highly recommend replacing it with this product. You will appreciate and enjoy the results. Do not think the new “Wi-Fi” tech is better. It is a waste of money and does not do the job. It is a gimmick targeting our fascination with advanced technologies.

1/2 the Price of Polaris, seems to do a better job and the construction seems similar. Works with old Polaris hose, just plug and play.

This is an updated review. Received on time but the box was retaped and appeared to be a possibly returned and resold product. All parts and packaging were inside box and all instructions and since my pool was green I decided to try it and not return it since the actual items appeared to be never used. Glad I did. It works great. Highly recommend unrolling and laying out the hose a day or even a few hours in sunlight / direct heat just to get the hose soft and laying flat first. This will allow the sweep to NOT Go in circles. The Pros Goes hard and sweeps well. It will climb my walls but my pool is all curved walls and steps meaning that it will get stuck at times climbing walls at the steps and love seat. The build quality is solid. The four wheel design is much better for our pool than the previous name brand pressure sweep with 3 wheels. Price comparison to the popular name brand is hands down a plus. I could literally buy 3 of these sweeps for about the same as the name brand base model. And more if comparing the name brand four wheel design. All of the other parts included are direct match to the name brand - the hose, floats, tail, leaf bag, pressure inlet (in wall) screw on adaptor, etc If you’re already using rhe name brand sweep with the wall quick connect you probably won’t need to change out the wall adaptor. So keep it for when if the old one wears out. They give two leaf bags with the unit. They give two size sweep valves (blue and red) The red creates more pressure and pushes the sweep faster through the pool. Cons So far not many but the only issue I’ve had is the connection at the end of hose to the body neck of the unit. The ring screw down doesn’t seem to be tightening as it should. They supplied a second screw down clamp but I haven’t tried it yet. The only time this was an issue is when the sweep hose reverse got stuck on then deep end ladder as the sweep was hanging and not touching the pool surface. Over all after week plus of using I highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this pressure side pool sweeper for a few weeks now, and it’s completely transformed my pool cleaning routine. Right out of the box, it was perfectly set up and ready to go—complete with a hose, backup valves, filters, and two debris bags. Installation was a breeze, and within minutes it was up and running. What really impressed me is how efficiently it maneuvers around the pool. It navigates with ease, climbs walls effortlessly, and sweeps both the floors and hard-to-reach corners. It’s now part of my daily schedule for just two hours a day, and the results speak for themselves—sparkling clean water with almost no manual effort on my part. The only minor downside is the debris bags. While they do the job, their openings are a bit narrow, which can limit how much larger debris they collect before needing to be emptied. That said, it’s a small trade-off considering the overall performance and convenience.

I was a bit worried that this wouldn’t be as good as my Polaris. I was pleasantly surprised that it works better than my Polaris ever has. It’s sturdy and gets the job done. Hope it continues for years to come!

I am a 30+ year pool owner in multiple states. I've had suction side cleaners, discharge side cleaners and manual. Bought this product after 2 Polaris'. Installed as instructed, worked great out of the box. We removed the cleaner from the pool while swimming. After one week, I put the cleaner back into the pool and immediately it failed to operate like the first time. It won't move, won't clean and is worthless! Very disappointing.
