Terrible design, terrible results, misleading description. Product description says "Works with iPhone and Android." False. Doesn't work with other. Has an app that can be used with Android (can't say for iPhone) BUT, never disclosed until you get the product, It does not work with the devices, it works with the CASE. No adjustment of anything at all can be made while the devices are in use. Have to take them out, put them in the case, try something, take them out and reinstall them in your ears to see what happened, if anything. There was NO WAY I could adjust them to not have terrible feedback. Even a very low volume, specially adjusting, with the advice of their customer service, turning down the high frequencies, being sure my ears were clean, trying all of the supplied tips; in other words a lot of work, resulted in feedback. Returning. I am sad because I figured that at this price point I could get something good.

I bought my Lucid Fio hearings aids from another source in early February of 2025. Within a bit over two months, the right hearing aid stopped fully charging, eventually not charging at all. I followed the owner's manual and cleaned the hear aid and the charging station leads, but that did not solve the problem. I contacted the manufacturer and apparently the product is on backorder. I have asked for more detail, like when I can hope to receive the backordered model, but the responses I receive from Lucid are terse and not helpful. So now I am out the price of the hearing aids without a working pair. Indefinitely. Not a great product, and not so great customer care.

Very sophisticated but in my humble opinion there should be settings depending on your environment. So if I am in a loud environment and need to hear the person 3 feet from me, I can hit a setting to enable me to hear their voice above all. Or if I am at a concert I can hit a setting within the app and I can get a good balance for the music. Currently, I have to go in and manually manipulate the settings which takes a long time and I do not have experience in audio manipulation (the app is quite technical).

I bought these and like them a lot. They don’t last 16 hrs, but got me through the day. After 11 months the right year wouldn’t charge. I of course thought it was something I did or didn’t do. After try repeatedly trying to charge it I gave up. I called customer support and the gladly exchanged mine for a new set. Well 11 months later the same thing happened. Customer support, although very pleasant to deal with, couldn’t help me. They don’t guarantee the second set! Booo! I talked to the supervisor and she told me the same, no guarantee, no replacement, no repair, no new parts. No Lucid for me !!!

The first thing i did was take them to my audiologist at Sam's. Sams is a Lucid dealer . She set their initial seting to my hearing loss. Work perfectly.
