It is sturdy and well constructed. However the spacing between the the barbell supports are exactly in the place that I want to put my hands for a bench press. Maybe it’s because you can also do dips that they chose this width . Narrower would be better or wider, but this width is not good. This is a great starter bench press. The only down side is if you have wide shoulders it’s a bit to narrow.
