I am using this in my 28' above ground pool. I installed it in October. I covered it with the standard round pool tarp and stretched the tarp tight using the included clips and very small clamps for security. It is now March and it is still complete full of air and there is no debri or water on my tarp. This is the best thing I have purchased for my pool. When I open the pool in May, I will not have to deal with water and nasty debri on the cover and spend time pumping tons of water off the cover. I am very happy. The media could not be loaded. I tried 2 large car innertubes held together with bungy cords to raise center so rain would drain off..it looked good at first but the innertubes moved off center even after weighing them down...after a heavy rain the cover had low spots that filled with heavy water.. pulling the cover off at the low spots...then I heard about these pool pillows... It's large, heavy duty, and should hold up very well... My only complaint is about the ropes...I cut them to size with scissors...tied them to each corner of the pillow...you'll see in the video what happen...one unraveled... I had some nylon rope on hand so I used them instead... I didn't wait for a heavy rain to see how it would hold up... I gave it a good hosing down...and the water ran right off... I highly recommend this product... ... show more

Good quality vinyl, and the little ruffle around the middle makes it much easier to get a hold of. There's two holes in the ruffle and two ropes come with it which also makes it easier to guide on the pool surface . The hole for pumping it up is large, but doesn't come with any kind of adapter so you have to figure out how to make your pump work with it. There might be a trick to it but there's no paperwork of any kind so if there is I couldn't figure it out. I was a little disappointed in the size – the 6 feet refers to the diameter of the pillow when it's laying flat. Inflated it's closer to 5 feet around and a little less than 3 feet high (see photos) ... show more

    • Doesn’t hold air
It has been in my pool covered for about two weeks now and has lost half the air already. I had such high hopes for this balloon ball since it was large to keep water off the cover of my pool. The first couple days was great, now it’s basically nonexistent and the water stays on the cover and I have to pump it. Not worth the money! I imagine within a week or two it’s going to be totally flat in my pool. I live in South Carolina, so it’s not like I have freezing temperatures and ice popped it. ... show more
