What wire gauge and breaker size are required for full 48A output? Requires a dedicated 60A double-pole breaker and 6 AWG copper wiring (hardwired) to handle the continuous 48A load. This setup unlocks the max 11.5kW charging speed. Professional installation recommended My panel is limited. Can I install this on a 40A or 50A breaker? Yes. You can limit the max output (e.g., to 32A or 40A) by adjusting the internal Rotary Switch during installation. This allows compatibility with lower-amp breakers (40A/50A) while keeping your panel safe. Why choose this hardwired version over a plug-in model?
