I bought these blinds because I was desperate for a better solution in our bedroom. The blinds we had before looked nice, but they let way too much morning light in, and on weekends I really wanted those extra few hours of sleep. With two kids, any extra sleep feels like a luxury! These turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The biggest difference is how dark our bedroom gets now. Once the blind is completely closed, hardly any light comes through at all. The first few mornings were actually funny because we would wake up around 9 AM and, because the room was still so dark, think it was much earlier! I also really like the cordless design. With kids in the house, I feel much better not having dangling cords around. The blind has a clean, simple appearance, and the built-in valance gives the window a much more finished look than I expected. The vinyl material is lightweight and easy to maintain, which is another plus for a busy household. More importantly, it does exactly what I bought it for: keeping the bedroom dark in the morning and giving us a little more time to sleep. If you're trying to darken a bedroom, especially if your current blinds are letting too much sunlight through, these have been one of my favorite home purchases. The difference between our old blinds and these was honestly huge.

I have purchased MANY of these blinds in a variety of sizes and will continue to buy them as needed for as long as they (or I) exist. I own a 4 unit rental property with original antique (late 1800) woodwork throughout and SO many windows of SO many different sizes. Any size I need - these blinds come in that size (including many sizes I cannot find in any brick and mortar store in my area from any brand.) They're easy to install - I tend to install them by myself, usually standing on something that isn't meant to be stood on... I generally have on me only a pencil, a small level, a drill and Philips head screwdriver.) They do take a bit of muscle and patience to click into place on the brackets if you don't have a helper on the other end, but once they're clicked in, they stay clicked in. Because I use them in a pet friendly building, I love that they don't have strings - pet cats often make short work of blinds with strings. I love how they look from the inside and from outside. They raise, lower, hold position and tilt so easily. I've only ever had one very minor problem, reached out to customer service to ask if it was something I might be able to fix on my own -- the rep went over a checklist I used to ascertain whether I could effect a repair and sadly, no, but, as I said, the issue was VERY minor and with only one blind (of MANY I have ordered and installed) and I had already communicated that the issue would not merit a return or exchange regardless, but the rep still offered to replace it, which I thought was above and beyond and very nice. (I thanked the rep and opted against a replacement as, again, the issue was too minor for that.) I am a very satisfied customer and I highly recommend these blinds.

I order 8 blinds with three different sizes that needed to be cut. All arrived in a very timely manner and boxed well. I had a little hiccup getting started but that was operator error. Was I put up the first one the rest was easy to put up; although for me I did find it a little difficult to ‘snap’ the blinds in, but was able to do it by myself (disabled middle age female). I did have three blinds that had problems. One was never cut down so it didn’t fit, another one had a defect with the tilt wand, and the last one had the upper part of the ladder torn. It only required one phone call with a few minute wait time and no transfers to another person/department. There was no hassle and the rep texted me the link for me to send my order number, what the problem was and a picture. This was late evening. The next day I got email saying the got the info and would send me my replacement blinds which arrived two days later. NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The blinds are your typical vinyl blinds , the color was as expected and all had instructions and hardware. I took off one star because I couldn’t find any info on the box or in the instructions and they didn’t answer the question when I asked where does it tell me that they are room darkening blinds. I would have figured I wails be able to know for sure from the box or manual or they could have answered that question for me. Anyway, they are nice blinds and work as expected for a good price.

I live in an older house has really hard to fit windows. Most of them are only 36" tall with a very shallow 1.5" casing depth that's also a little wavy because the walls are plaster. The previous owner had installed cellular shades and I've always hated how the valance stuck out so far past the casing and how hard they are to remove for cleaning. I've never hung blinds before, but installing them was super easy - just mark everything out and drill 2 holes for each bracket. There's a 3rd support bracket included for longer windows but I didn't have to use it. There's a video that shows how to do all of it, but as long as you don't install them upside down it's pretty foolproof. Even snapping the blinds into the brackets was easier compared to the ones that were on there before. It took me about 10-15 minutes each including unpacking everything and reading the instructions. It was also great to be able to order a 48" blind, since most stores only carry a 64" in stock. The manufacturer even included a video with instructions to shorten them. Turns out that there are only a few extra slats at the bottom when they're fully pulled down and it looks ok, so I didn't even need to do that. I like that they're cordless as well. Overall they look clean, fit really nicely and operate well. I would maybe take a fraction of a star off if I could because one of the ends has a slightly rough cut and the top end cap doesn't sit completely flat. But I think that's something only I will ever notice. The same size blinds from the big manufacturers were at least $40-50 more than these, with a longer time to ship. I was able to have these ordered to installed within a few days. I have some more windows that I'll definitely be replacing the old cellular shades with these soon.

Pros: The blinds arrived much quicker than expected. I was nervous about potentially messing up the measurements but I followed the measurement instructions and they turned out spot on. No excess length, just perfect. The color is a nice white (though it appears warmer in photos due to my dark old house). So far they pull down and up very smoothly. Installation wasn't too difficult. Cons: The edges of them were just as damaged and ugly as noted by some other reviewers. I've been dying to make these windows more functional so I can have daylight during the day and privacy at night so I decided to live with the defects but it definitely feels like a poor use of my money. I found that taking a fine grit sandpaper and running it along the defects helps minimize their appearance a little bit but some of the edges are too chopped up for this to make a significant difference. One of the slats on one set came with a small tear in it - this is thankfully not too noticeable. Additionally, the brackets they come with are coated white but one of mine had large pieces of paint peeled off of it. This defect was not noticeable once the blinds were in place, but still not worth the $30 I paid for each set of blinds. Long story short, I would probably not buy these again due to quality issues but they are meeting my expectations for functionality.

Very easy to install, with multiple mounting options. Very good quality and price, and fits me 28.5" W x 30" L window perfectly. Works great for blocking light with complete closure between each individual slat. And the cordless feature is so great. It's so easy to use. So happy with this purchase!
