I like the length of the cord it comes with, I can park the car either front end first or back in first and the cord can reach either way. I like how it lights up at night, and I can change the amperage of the charging.

I ordered the 32A version and description mentioned RFID cards and App. No rfid or app and the instructional manual does not mention RFID or app. Otherwise works fine. Only has Amp adjust and delay time to charge but no scheduling capability as indicated on description. (Update: since my review, the product now changed to 40A and 16.5ft cable where mine is 20ft cable and 32A. I posted the photo of the original description as evidence)

This EV charging station from Youwoauto is a Level 2 EV charger that is capable of outputting 32A at 240V. I would give this a higher rating but overall I just felt a little weird about the odd design and text on the screen which made it feel really cramped. It feels like there wasn't much effort put into the design of this EV charger. The EV charger from Youwoauto is definitely easy to use, you just plug it into the wall using the NEMA 14-50P plug on one end and plug it into the vehicle on the J1772 end. I am able to get about 23 miles charged up per hour on my Ford EV which is not bad because overnight for 10 hours that is a full 230 mile charge. The EV charger felt a little cheap and low end and it's absolutely reflected in its price. I want to lower the rating but the price is so competitive and cheap that it matches the quality for what you get so I do consider it a 4 star product given all the factors considered. If it were any more expensive, this would be a 3 star product.

Great EV charger with fast, flexible charging. If you have an electric car, at this price, it is insane not to have this in your car for emergencies (if you have something better at home) The 32A output provides quick Level 2 charging, and the adjustable amperage settings allow you to tailor the speed to your needs. So if you can possibly reach your max set-charge within 6 hours, but you are leaving within 9 hours, then just set the amperage down to whatever is required for you to reach your goal by a set time. The long 25ft cable gives plenty of reach for easy parking. Overall, this is a well-built, high-performing charger at a inanely reasonable price. Highly recommended for home and trave EV charging.

My plug in hybrid came with a portable Level 1 charger which I have been taking on trips. It uses a standard NEMA 5-15 plug and is indoor/outdoor. The catch; 12 1/2 hours to charge the battery. This one, on the other hand, can be Level 2 with the right input; or Level 1 with the right adapter (NEMA 5-15 to NEMA 15-40). I'm thinking that's an advantage on road trips and might come in very handy at campsites with an RV hookup. With a Level 2 charger the 12 1/2 become 2 1/2 hours. On a daily basis I use a hard-wired Level 2 charger in my garage. On a recent cross country trip a hotel in Lincoln, NE and another in Missoula, MT allowed me to use the charger by plugging into one of their outside outlets. This works well when the parking spaces on next to the sidewalk around the hotels. The advantage of this charger in Level 1 mode is that it gives the true kWh put into the battery rather than the fudged number that you get in the Toyota app.
