I could not be happier with this charger (after only a couple of uses). I have a Ford Fusion Energi with convenience plug-in, that charges in a few hours (oddly enough, I have never timed the charging cycle--I usually plug it in when I get home and it's ready to go the next day). I connect with a 12-ga extension cord to a 15 amp circuit with a GFCI outlet. This charger fits my Fusion perfectly, and began charging immediately. The max draw is 16 amps, but it did not trip my 15-amp circuit breaker. I reached full charge (about 17 miles of driving) in roughly 6 hours, drove my car and exhausted the charge, and recharged again overnight. Charging started and stopped as normal, with nothing unusual at all. We had some torrential rain overnight, and while the charging block is under cover, the charger attachment is exposed to weather and the heavy-duty cable lies on the ground. There was no evidence of any water-related issue. The charger appears to be solid construction and overall very heavy-duty. It functions in every way as well as the OEM, so I'll be able to pack my OEM in the specialized bay in my trunk for charging away from home, and use this charger at my house, where there is exposure to weather and at least a chance of theft. Note that the charger comes with a decent quality zippered bag, some velcro cable management straps, and an adapter to let you connect the NEMA 5-20 plug (for 20-amp connections) to a standard NEMA 5-15 for connection to typical household outlets. Overall, I could not be happier. I will update if my opinion changes.

This great charger is totally portable, and I'm not sure I was expecting that. What a bonus. But let me start at the beginning. We had Teslas, then we didn't, but we have other BEVs that are J1772 standard for charging, but we had tied up a lot of money in dozens (home and office and shop, etc.) of Tesla standard chargers. So we were getting adapters for all these home chargers and mobile chargers and destination chargers, and then it was an extra piece to go on all of them. When I saw this one it seemed great - like a real solution to use as home chargers (and in garaged destinations as) destination chargers, and I ordered it. It's great, and the real bonus is the sturdy canvas bag and cable wraps that make it so portable. Fantastic! And it's as good as any Level 2 charger you'll find out there - just connect it at 220v and you're at Level 2 with fairly high amperage - haven't hit its peak yet in tests, but I will tomorrow, probably, and it already does very well. Works on Level 1 at 110v also - separate cord for that which just plugs into the regular 220v cord and then the wall - the charger automatically "knows" the incoming voltage. Cables are thick and construction is really solid. And the bonus is being able to carry it with us on a trip so we'll always have a charger at our destination, and stops in between, that operates on our J1772 standard. Totally RECOMMEND this well-made unit!
