I just bought a 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (which is one of the first non-Teslas to come with a native NACS port), and I was unable to charge using Hyundai’s included level 1 charger, no matter how many different settings or variables I changed. So I bought this one (level 1, 15 amp charger), and it works great, no problems at all. I’m even using it with a 25ft 12 gauge 15 amp extension cord, and it’s fine. I’m going to throw out the Hyundai level 1 charger and put this one in the frunk instead, along with the extension cord, for emergencies.

This charger works great with my Model 3. It doesn't get warm like previous ones I've used. I also appreciate the length of the cord and that I can travel with it as well. Very happy with my purchase. If you've been searching and searching like I was, BUY THIS ONE! You won't be disappointed.

Worked great for about 5 months and then suddenly stopped. Now when I plug it in it just buzzes and does not work. I emailed Aplysia Tech's customer service provided by Amazon and have received zero response.

Working great. It's best to not use an extension cord. But I'm using a 10 gauge (thicker wire) 25 ft cord to help it reach, and that seems okay. Also, I often get from 50% to about 80% overnight. I'm surprised how fast the slow charger really is in real life usage. Despite being somewhat slow, I don't think I need faster at home.

Good overall. Works well for opportunistic portable charging while out and about. But I'm deducting a star because it's not safety certified by a proper organization/major lab like UL so I'd be hesitant to use it as my primary home charger.

We used this for about a month as our primary charger while we were scheduled to have our Level 2 connector installed. Be realistic about the capabilities of 12-15A and you should be good. We now keep this in the frunk as a travel charger.
