This is awesome. It gives me access to non-Tesla charging locations. That's huge. I’ve been using this 16 A Level 1/2 portable EV charger for a few weeks now, and I’m incredibly impressed — easily worthy of 5 stars. Here’s what stands out: Performance & Versatility The dual-voltage support (110 V and 240 V) is fantastic. I can plug into a standard household outlet (NEMA 5-15) when needed, and I get much faster charging when using a 240 V outlet (NEMA 6-20). At 240 V / 16 A, it delivers solid power — I’m seeing about 12 miles of range per hour, which is a major upgrade from slower 8 A Level 1 chargers. This aligns with Amazon’s own specs. The 20 ft cable gives plenty of reach, making it easy to use whether your outlet is on the wall or a bit further away. Build Quality & Safety The charger feels very robust. The housing is solid and not overly bulky, and the connector feels durable. Safety protections are well-thought-out: there’s lightning protection, over-current, over-voltage — all the things I want in a portable EVSE. According to the Amazon listing, it has built-in protections and gives good peace of mind. The J1772 connector is standard and works seamlessly with my EV — no weird fit issues. User Experience It’s really easy to switch between Level 1 and Level 2 charging depending on what outlet I have available. The cable is flexible and long enough that I don’t feel like I need an extension or to re-arrange anything in my garage. Recently got this for my tesla x long range. It works fantastically. Connects easily, defintely with the money. It's super nice quality and helps charge up fast to get back on the road. Can't recommend this enough. Able to charge up when you can't find the tesla specific stations. If you own a tesla you need one of these. Better safe than sorry. Works perfectly.

5 stars for not blowing out my Tesla battery... It fits and chargers the car at the rated Amps.. feels well built, so no complaints there. I'm not about to disassemble it and take a look at the insides (unless the vendor wants to send me another one :) )

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The Nefaracy EV Charger Adapter for Tesla 3/Y/X/S, J1772 to Tesla Charger Adapter, 80Amp/240V, J1772 Charging Adapter for Tesla Cars Only (j1772 adapter) was obtained for my sons car. He reports it works flawlessly with public chargers and is a solid value for the convenience it brings to the owner. Would reorder as it met all expectations without any compatibility issues.

This charger feels solid right out of the box—everything was well-packaged, and the cable is thick and durable. Setup was easy, and it’s worked reliably so far with my EV. The build quality is impressive for the price, and it’s a great alternative to more expensive name-brand chargers.
