I’ve worn these twice now, and they’ve been consistently comfortable and practical each time. Comfort is a strong point. They were comfortable right away with no break in needed, and that has continued with wear. The cushioned insole with arch support gives a supportive feel, especially when walking outside on wet ground. No rubbing, stiffness, or discomfort so far. The waterproofing also holds up well. I’ve walked through wet grass and puddles, and my feet stayed completely dry both times. The one piece molded design feels solid and helps prevent any water from getting in through seams, which adds confidence during rainy use. They’re also very easy to put on and take off. The opening has enough room for thicker socks or jeans tucked in without feeling tight, and the fit feels true to size, making them convenient for everyday wear. The material is smooth and easy to clean, and the matte finish keeps them looking neat even after being outside. There is no chemical smell to the boots. The soft purple color is a nice touch as well...still practical, but with a bit more personality than standard neutral boots. The outsole has felt stable with good traction on wet pavement, and I haven’t experienced any slipping. Finding rain boots that actually accommodate a wider calf can be a real challenge, but these fit perfectly and are surprisingly comfortable for all-day wear. I ordered my usual size and found them to be completely true to size, offering a good amount of room without feeling clunky or loose. I wore them with medium weight socks. There was extra room, but it was not an issue. The quality of the construction is very apparent, with sturdy seams, high-quality lining, and a durable rubber that feels like it will hold up well against the elements. One of the best features is the generous opening at the top; it provides plenty of space to easily tuck in a pair of jeans or thicker pants without any bunching or discomfort. They have a classic, stylish look that makes me want to wear them everywhere, not just when it’s pouring outside. Although I admit that as a grown-up wearing purple rain boots everywhere may generate a few stares. Which makes me happy! Love, love, love these! I’ve wanted some cute pink boots to wear around my yard for a while, and I already have a few pair of Planone Chelsea boots (with each having a slightly different fit), so I was excited to order these. I wear wide shoes because I need a wide toe box, one pair of my Chelsea Planone boots has a wide box, the others are wide enough but a touch snug, so I was a little nervous. Fortunately, these have the widest toe box yet; they’re extremely comfortable. The wide calf is a little wide for me. My calves are 15”, and there are MANY inches to spare, not only in the calf, but throughout the lower lengths. Half of the width of the boot at the top is ~8”. Somehow they feel much more than 1” too big; I think because they don’t quite hit the widest part of my calf. The arch support is gentle and comfortable; I have flat feet and sometimes too much arch support hurts, I’m really happy with these!

I have had large calves as far back as I can remember, and it has always made it difficult to find boots or tall socks that fit (I’m so glad skinny jeans are an out!). So when I saw these boots I was intrigued, but skeptical. I have other Planone boots that I really like, so I wanted to love these…and I was so pleasantly surprised! They truly are large-calf friendly…almost too big! But I’m not complaining. I can’t wait to wear scrunchie socks, bulky leg warmers, and not feel like my calves are going to bust out of my boots like a can of biscuits. On top of being nice and roomy, they’re comfortable, not too heavy, and fit true to size. If you have meaty calves and have been on the hunt for low-mid rise rain boots, these are the ones!
