Dialed it down to 40 AMP due to its connection with Nema 1450. But 40 amp is plenty of power to charge my Tesla Y from 60 percent or so to 80 percent in less than 3 hours during off peak hours. Cables feel durable and strong. Big question is to see how long it lasts. but so far so good

Overall a really nice EV charger with a couple short comings but not enough to put one off buying. It's very nice. Clean lines and simple install. Hang and go. Well constructed with highly visible identification lights for current state. It has no display and is not networkable which on the surface had me thinking shortcoming but the reality is after the initial 3 mins of infatuation with the display one likely never looks at it unless it fails. I am starting to like to simple and effective color coded light features on this. The charge cord is 16ft which is too short imo. This is probably the one negative I have for this unit. 20ft and it would have been perfect. I love the Tesla input plug as I have a Tesla. Getting rid of the adapter is a win or at least what I tell my wife who now has to deal with the adapter for her Jeep 4xe :). This unit also has an adjustable AMP rating via a dial on the back of the unit. This needs to be selected before mounting and will need to be pulled down to change. Good news is once it's set you likely are not changing it. However having the option of 16,32, 40 and 48A is really nice. Keep in mind these are the 20% derated # so you need to bump the breaker accordingly. In my case I am running off a 50a breaker and getting solid 40A out of the charger. 48A likely will require hard wiring and this one does have a plug connection that may need to be altered significantly and beyond most for install. Still it's super nice to have the flexibility and option to adjust to your needs and panel. Beyond a couple mild quirks like the length of the charge cord I'm liking this charger and it will sure give the OEM Tesla a run at lower cost. Forgot to mention you can turn it off from the charge plug which is nice and helps with the release on Teslas. Also I have not experienced any heat issues with the unit at all. Cord or Charger. A+

This is a very solid charger with a neat design. It stands out in the garage, and adds a modern look, especially thanks to the lights, which change color depending on the charging status. This was not at all complicated to set up, and feels solid and well made. I appreciate the simplicity vs some which have apps, software, etc. which increases the likelihood of failure or complicated issues. You just hang this up, set the amp you need, and use. It has been working excellently, and charging the Tesla quickly each night. While pricier than alternatives, this does seem like a great option if you charge your EV at home and want a more premium, lasting experience.

This is a nice charger that has everything we wanted in a charger. First off it was in our price range. It is a 48amp charger, and it has a long charger cable than our old charger. We have this charger. mounted in a charger case and mounted to the outside of our garage for outdoor charging. This charges charges with no issues; the app was easy to load and is well laid out. This was a good upgrade over our less expensive, less feature packed charger. We are happy and we would buy it again. 5 STARS

I’ve been testing this on my jeep grand Cherokee 4xE. While it says it is compatible, I’m not sure if it’s wrong, or simply the instructions are wrong. Here’s why. Charging seem to be working perfectly OK until I read the instructions that you should plug the charger into your car and then powered on. Immediately tripped a code in my jeep that said I needed to service the charging system. Took it to the dealer and they reset it but also did a software upgrade. I was hoping the software upgrade would do the trick but then I had the same issue the next time I tried powering it on with it plugged in. The difference this time is that it reset itself after cycling the car off several times. So now, I leave it powered on 100% of the time and I have zero issues. So I’m not sure if this is a jeep thing or if it’s something with the charger that will send a bad signal if you try to power it up while it’s plugged into the car. Other than that, it’s a very basic charger with no smart features and does exactly what it’s supposed to do… If you ignore the powering instructions.
