This review is for Cherry Crush. I previously had black dye in my hair which I stripped out (without bleach) about 3 weeks prior to using this dye. As you can see my hair was a light Auburn/patchy blonde with dark roots. I decided I wanted to stay dark so I went with this shade from a TikTok video I saw. This kit is easy to use, comes with shampoo along with conditioner which is nice. I’ve read many reviews saying that it fades fast, that is to be expected with any box dye kit in my opinion and the history of your hair plays a huge role in longevity of product. Overall I have no complaints. My hair feels soft and I feel the color was true to the description.

Wow!! This stuff is incredible. I was using feria in the blood moon shade forever but it was frying my hair due to the need to frequently redye to freshen my red. This color (hot chili) felt like a new formula that was so much gentler on my hair but delivered a gorgeous rich red that was consistent from my dark brown roots to my previously colored hair. It also gave me 100% grey coverage. I used this about 5 weeks ago and my red is still going strong, though I do use a color depositing conditioner every couple of weeks to freshen my color up. Turned out perfect. I was a bit fearful it would turn out like the box cover-an un-natural bright orange but it turned out a natural copper red color-which I was hoping for. Beautiful-and my hair is silky soft after.

NOT for covering grey. I know it says that, but I thought that the color would hide the grey a little. Unfortunately, the color was not what the picture showed. It barely changed the color of my hair. I went from a medium reddish brown to a normal brown (may 1/2 shade lighter) that looks coppery in the light. It’s not bad but not what I expected, and now I’ll have to wear root cover up for 4 weeks until I can color it again.

I did absolutely love this color and covered gray well. Close to black while indoors unless the light hit just right to make the purple pop. In the sun or bright lighting it was a beautiful and vibrant purple. My only downfall to this product is that I was continiously washing the color out, even using a L'Oreal shampoo for color treated hair. In about 3 weeks the color was practically all washed out.

I absolutely love this L’Oréal hair dye. What really impressed me is that it works beautifully on natural black hair without any bleaching. The color comes out as a soft, subtle red, and it looks especially gorgeous under sunlight — very natural and shiny, not too bold. It also doesn’t feel overly damaging to my hair. My hair still feels smooth after coloring, which is a big plus for me. I’ve repurchased this dye many times from different places because it’s been so reliable. Recently I saw it on Amazon at a discounted price, which was such a great deal, so I went ahead and subscribed. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for an easy, low-damage way to add some color to dark hair. Highly recommend! FYI： it will dye the floor and the wall!
