The kettle heats quickly and has an attractive design. I’ve had it for a couple of years and it continues to work perfectly. It has a fairly short electrical cord, which is fine for me but notable. My only complaint is that the handle is in a fixed position, so if you want to dump out left over water after heating (so that you can start with fresh water for the next time), you can easily scald your hand. ... show more

This is my third electric water kettle. The first was a a Chefman it leaked after about. 10 months. The second was a GE it had a leak after I cleaned up the mineral build up the was keeping a invisible hairline fracture from leaking. Tired of the pretty glass pot, I opted for this SS pot. I have used it for three week’s twice a day. It heats rapidly, it does make rolling boil sounds. It shuts off once it reaches the boiling temperature. I am very happy with the purchase. The media could not be loaded. Likes: all stainless steel on the inside. No plastic parts that come into contact with the water. Dislikes: double walled but not double wall insulated. The inside is metal. The outside is plastic. This keeps you from burning yourself and probably provides some extra insulation but it’s not double wall vacuum insulated like a thermos. Another con. My kettle continues at a full boil for almost a minute before shutting off. See my video. Wish it turned off sooner. Two last cons. The on/off switch feels a bit cheap and I predict it’ll snap off one day when someone accidentally bumps it’s wrong. The button that opens the lid isn’t very snappy. All in all. It looks great and it boils water. But it’s still mostly plastic except for the inside. ... show more
