With OVENTE’s KP72 Electric Kettle Series, you can purify your drinking water to its safest state. Operating at 1100W (120V), this kettle boils water to 100°C (212°F), ensuring your water is purified to perfection. This kettle features a secure locking lid that flips back with just the push of a button! The button stays cool, as does the cool- touch handle for safe handling. For easy cleaning, the spout filter is removable. Simply mix 3 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon with water, allow it to boil, and let it sit for a minimum of five hours before drying. Storing the 1.7L kettle is a breeze too, as the 30-inch cord wraps neatly around the base. NOTE: Electric kettles may reach boiling faster at higher altitudes due to the fluctuation of boiling points. CAUTION: KETTLE BODY MAY BE EXTREMELY HOT DURING OPERATION. Great value. Water heats quickly, easy to operate. I bought this as an extra and it works great. Very important to follow manufacturer instructions and heat at least 3 cycles of water and dispose of each before consuming water.

I purchased one for myself and one for my mother after our trip to Samoa. Lots of places there do not have hot tap water. We utilized their water pots to heat up water to take the edge off the freezing spring water showers/baths but we also used it for the instant coffee that is everywhere there as coffee beans aren’t as prevalent & of course for tea. We were so impressed with the kettles and wondered why we never had one at home. We both have the stove kettles- while functional, they take forever to heat up & don’t have an automatic shut off like this thing does. It heats up so fast it feels luxurious to use! This particular model had lots of great reviews and the price that I got both of ours for was exceptionally great. I ordered them as we were waiting to board the plane home & they were waiting on us when we got back! I use mine at least every other day for tea but what I also like to use it for is my mop water or any time I need really hot water FAST !! I never knew what I was missing. My mother called me about a week after we got back and said she loves hers. You can heat up enough for a cup of tea or the whole pot. It’s very user friendly {off/on}, it lights up when heating, dings & shuts off once it reaches boiling. So far this kettle works perfectly. The handle & pop top do not heat up at all, handling it is nice & comfortable. I was worried about getting splash back but the pour spout design is fantastic. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the cord/plug is heavier than the base. So when you lift the kettle off the base shifts. It’s not a deal breaker but it would be nice if the base were a little heavier. I like the lightweight of the kettle but not the base. This one is simplistic, lightweight, fast and budget friendly. If you’re looking for that, then you will love this kettle. If you’re look for something substantial and top of the line, this one will feel cheap because it’s so lightweight and mostly made of plastic. For me, it’s perfect because I only need it to heat up fast! It’s also not loud which is great in early morning brain fog. ... show more

Heats water fast, hardly makes any noise, there’s a light on the inside so you can see the water, super easy to use and clean, over all it’s a great hot pot. I also love the green yellowish color, makes it easy to see.

Have to say so far so good..Read allot of the reviews and liked what i have read and decided to purchase...The price is right for sure..I had a different hot water dispenser before this because i drink Instant coffee and used a hot water dispenser because its quick to boil water..Over the years the one i was using would last a few years and like this one the price was cheap enough that even if lasted just a year then i wasn't out a bunch of money..The one i used before they had stopped making it after several years and they would last but a year so i purchased one every year or so as they wore out. Because they stopped making the ones i usually buy..I decided to go with this one after searching for a replacement after the one i usually get went KAPUT...This one does the same thing its just different and you know when you buy something your satisfied with you usually go back to the one you trusted before..Because it was different than the old ones i had before i was a little apprehensive to purchase it..Well i will say this..i am extremely happy i decided to give this one a shot..I find it actually better..its more easy to use and it does the same thing as the other..It boils water fast..i just put one cup of water in it although it will hold more if i need it to..I just use one cup of water for my morning coffee because thats all i need..The more water you put in the longer it takes to boil of course so for me i put one cup of water and in about a minute i have boiled water for my coffee..Of course it could be water for tea or soup..Whatever you need boiling water for and fast...Fast being the key for me..Can't say how long it will last but the reviews from others say it lasts awhile...But even if it doesn't its not like i spent a ton of money for it..I just got it and used it but a few times now so i really don't know the life expectancy of this..Beware though because the first few times you boil water you have that newness smell...That went away quickly though after a few times boiling water in it..I just boiled water a few times and dumped it out and only took a few times of doing that before it didn't have that new smell to it anymore and it tasted normal..Doesn't have that after tasted like that of a plastic thermos...Its perfect for a perfect cup of coffee..I actually like this way better than the old one i had before as it is more convenient when i pour water from it to my cup..the other i had to stand there and hold a button down and water would come out at the pace it wanted to ..with tis one i just pour it out like a kettle..The water is boiling and plenty hot too so be careful not to burn yourself and enjoy ... show more
