With OVENTE’s KP72 Electric Kettle Series, you can purify your drinking water to its safest state. Operating at 1100W (120V), this kettle boils water to 100°C (212°F), ensuring your water is purified to perfection. This kettle features a secure locking lid that flips back with just the push of a button! The button stays cool, as does the cool- touch handle for safe handling. For easy cleaning, the spout filter is removable. Simply mix 3 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon with water, allow it to boil, and let it sit for a minimum of five hours before drying. Storing the 1.7L kettle is a breeze too, as the 30-inch cord wraps neatly around the base. NOTE: Electric kettles may reach boiling faster at higher altitudes due to the fluctuation of boiling points. CAUTION: KETTLE BODY MAY BE EXTREMELY HOT DURING OPERATION. Works as advertised. It will boil about 7 cups of water within 5 minutes. That's faster than my 1000 watt microwave. In my area, the water that I buy from those "purified water" machine still tastes funny and smells like mold. So, I boil it, and then I add about six drops of UNSCENTED chlorine bleach to the seven cups of water. I let that sit for about 24 hours. After letting it vent for 24 hours, the chlorine taste is gone and the water doesn't smell like a moldy towel. I highly recommend this product for boiling water. ... show more
