WOW! I buy a lot on Amazon but I don't leave a lot of reviews. This product however, is such an incredible value, and is so very very excellent that I feel obligated to take the time to explain why it is so very very VERY good. I was traveling last week and I needed a teapot in my hotel room, and I went to Walmart and bought a "Chessman" all metal teapot for around $27 plus tax. To my surprise I discovered that it heated water faster than any other teapot I have ever owned, but more important it was nearly silent. (In the past year I have purchased three glass teapots on Amazon, one for around $25 and two more for around $50, and they are all acceptable but when boiling water they make a very loud noise like a rushing waterfall. It is hard to hear the TV or music when it is operating. Just now I boiled three full pots of water in this new Chefman glass teapot. I was absolutely stunned to discover that it makes NO NOISE AT ALL. All you hear is the "click" when it is finished boiling the water. And my subjective view is that it boils at least twice as fast as the previous three glass teapots I had purchased on Amazon. What's more, this Chefman glass teapot only costs around $23 (as of April 11, 2025 with a 15% Amazon discount). Apparently this is a well known brand and has a reputation for fast boiling times. But no review mentioned the noise level. I think it is a very big deal, and if you want to boil. water this is your choice. If you have ever heard a teapot making a noise when operating, you will be amazed the first time you use this teapot. I cannot give it a high enough rating. - followup after one week - it has started making a small amount of noise when boiling - but orders of magnitude less than the other glass teapot I've owned.. I am ordering another one today. a really good product. Hmmm, a further follow up - I just discovered that if you boil white distilled vinegar in your teapot it significantly reduces the noise a teapot makes when water is boiling. I haven't quantified it yet, but objectively it is 1/4th as loud after boiling vinegar. This Chefman is still quieter, but the difference is not as great as I originally thought. The Chefman remains a tremendous value - it is 1/2 the price of some other brands and boils much faster and starts of nearly silently. And now I know I can maintain the sounds of silence with vinegar.

The Chefman Glass Electric Kettle has become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. It heats water incredibly fast—almost in seconds—which is super convenient when I’m making tea or need hot water quickly for cooking or instant meals. One of the things I love the most is the sleek and modern design. The glass and stainless steel look really nice on the counter, and it feels high-quality. SO BEAUTIFUL! With many quality factors, thanks! It not only heats - and the light show is entertaining as well as purposeful; LOVE the 1-hr temp hold; AND it strains while it's poured out! I boil water for ingesting and had been using filters and a cumbersome process to ensure pure water . . . this beautiful and quality hot water pot does it all for me! AND I discovered it would boil as long as I kept the lid off, for those recommended community 'boil water' circumstances. AWESOME!

I purchased this for a friend after purchasing the same model at Costco. My friends and I LOVE this pot. You can choose from several temperature settings. There is a feature which keeps the tea warm, but it doesn't run so long that it makes your tea taste bitter. It will shut off if there isn't enough liquid. Easy to clean. Will take tea bags pr loose leaf tea. Easy to the tea inside. Pretty colored lights, easy to read LED display. Just a great tea maker for 1/2 liter or more. Holds 1.8 L, which is a lot of liquid.
