How to Make A Cup of Delicious Coffee? 1. Fill the CO108-NK Gooseneck Kettle with the appropriate amount of water, press the "COFFEE/205℉" Preset, and wait for a few minutes; 2. Grind fresh coffee beans to the right fineness with COSORI Coffee Grinder; 3. Pour the freshly ground coffee into COSORI Pour Over Coffee Maker; 4. Pour the boiling water over the ground coffee in a slow turning motion; 5. The coffee drips slowly into the pot, and the delicious coffee is ready! How to Descale/Clean the Kettle? 1. Filling the kettle with 1 cup of vinegar or lemon juice and 2 cups of water; 2. Boiling the liquid and leave it for 2 hours, then use a cloth to clean and wipe; 3. Rinse the kettle with clean water, and dry with a soft, clean cloth; 4. Repeat as needed. Notes: 1. Add at least 118 mL of filtered water to the kettle. Do not fill above the 'MAX' line. Wipe any water from the outside of the kettle and the base. 2.It's normal if your kettle exposes spots or rust on the stainless steel bottom after the first use if the water quality in your area is so hard. 3. When you choose a preset with Hold Temp, and then lift the kettle during heating; the CO108-NK will continue the heating process if the kettle is returned to the base within 1 minute.

This is the best kettle at this price point. It is attractive and has fantastic features: accurate adjustable water temp, no internal plastic contact, a gooseneck, and fast heating. Unlike other kettles, it has little to no chemical or plastic smell even on first use. This kettle also has an optional sound indicator when the water has heated to the desired temp. This feature can easily be turned off if unwanted. It has an option to hold the water at temp, though it heats fast enough that I rarely use this. The adjustable water temp is not only nice for teas, but is also helpful for heating water while avoiding excessive steam. I got this to replace a very old discontinued model of a beloved electric kettle with adjustable water temp that I got many years ago and was finally on its very last legs. I tried a couple other kettles, and this is the only one I have been happy with. I have owned it for several months now, and I like it even better than my old one. ... show more

Love the trifecta of perfect functionality, classic design and yup, it is somehow cute too:). My favorite thing is the hold temperature button - so convenient to have hot water for an hour without having to reheat again. Reasonable price, good customer service, known quality and durability, and a certain level of trust in the product (brand) as I'm now officially a Cosori kitchen appliance fan - owner of their big water kettle - love the blue light glass kettle two years in and going strong. Their Instant Pot has the awesome feature of having a clever orange release button well away from the steam release - no issues ever. Yesterday I received their air fryer... Isn't it great that there are still a few companies that make good products and provide good customer service? Nope - not being paid or otherwise compensated for saying that - I'm just a happy, satisfied customer. Recommended! ... show more

RECENT UPDATE: Recently COSORI reached out to me and remedied all my concerns and sent me out a brand new kettle and it’s working and looks amazing!!! So happy to be able to make my teas again. It’s amazing how different your teas taste when heating to the perfect temperature. CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS TIME WAS PERFECT! Worked great the first 2 1/2 years - loved that it has different temperatures for different types of teas and all. Used it frequently because how hot the tea I make needs to be and just made the tea taste the best. My only concern is it just started to act weird making strange popping noises when heating up, sadly not long when the warranty ran out. It started getting finicky a few months before that , it wouldn’t turn on sporadically. Then it would and heat up fine. I also noticed that around the spout near the bottom where it bends before connecting to the pot the black paint started to peel a little. But that didn’t bother as much as the very loud popping noises it would make so I just quit using it and got in touch with the company. But of course since the warranty is over they wouldn’t do anything about it. So now I’m in search of a different but similar tea kettle. In my humble opinion it should have lasted a lot longer thena few years. I’ve had coffee pots and blenders that have last way longer than that. Sadly I won’t be purchasing from this company again as I think they should stand behind their products. But if you want a tea kettle that does all this does (which is wonderful) but only lasts a couple years. I’d recommend it. Cord length is great, the auto shut off works perfectly but the ease of cleaning because of the small mouth of the pot makes it a bit of a challenge to clean well. I switched to instant coffee a couple of years back and had been using my drip coffee maker just to get the hot water. The downside being there are several parts that need to be washed. I also added a new powder (I dissolve the coffee, fiber, powdered creamer, and now collagen powder) and it was becoming difficult to get everything mixed together properly. I decided that an electric kettle with different temperature settings would be a nice replacement. I've been using the kettle for a couple of weeks now and I really like it. The control you get from the pour is nice as is the ability to specify what temperature you want the water to be. Using the Oolong setting works great for my morning coffee. I feel like boiling water and pouring it out also sanitizes the kettle so I appreciate that. The cord wrap on the bottom of the base is great because you can have the cord the exact length you want so it's not laying all over your counter. I don't need a very long cord and with my previous coffee maker I had to stuff the cord behind it. If I could change one thing it would be to have the max file line not just on the handle side of the kettle but a line all the way around. How the lighting is in my kitchen it's difficult to get a good angle to see the max fill line early in the morning. I can't comment yet on the longevity but if feels very sturdy and well built. I also like the color and overall appearance on my counter. It's much more visually appealing than my previous option. ... show more

Works very well. It has a wonderful aesthetic. I think it was worth the extra <$10 for the Bluetooth features. The pot itself is very sturdy and well-made. The base is also solid and metal. The touch-buttons are a snazzy edition. The pot heats up the water very quickly. I deduced 1 Star based on 2 things: cost and the handle. If I must be honest, I wish they offered a more premium feeling handle. It’s a solid plastic, but it still takes away from the overall feel. I would bite on one that cost yet another $10 for a wooden handle. A wooden handle would make this a 6 star pot! Bottom line: great tea pot with wonderful features. I just wish they offered a nicer handle. I would buy this again and I would recommend this product to a friend. ... show more

    • Very Useful, Beautiful Kettle!

I bought this gooseneck kettle because I got into pour-over coffee with my Hario V60. Until I bought this electric kettle, I have always boiled water in a Pyrex in the microwave. Doing this in the microwave was always a hassle. Now that I have a dedicated electric kettle, I am boiling more water than ever! I use this for my first cup of V60 pour-over coffee the morning. A few hours later, I boil more water to make a cup of black tea. A few hours after that, I make another cup of black tea. A few hours more, I might make a pot (2-cups) of green tea. In the evenings, around 11:30 pm or 12:00 am, I will make another cup of peppermint tea. From time to time, I also use this pot to make hot water for the soup base when I cook instant ramen. I really like the hold temperature function of the kettle. It's very useful, especially when I get busy with other things and forgot about the water. The temperature is maintained. The illuminated blue touch buttons (not push, but capacitive) buttons are really nice. That means 7 less buttons that break on you when you least expect them to, which is whenever you use the kettle. The kettle is also very stylist, which means you'll want to keep this on your counter, even when it's not in use. Overall, this is the best $70 I've ever spent. I would recommend this gooseneck kettle if you do a lot of pour-over coffee. It allows you to pour with a high-degree of control. All the other things I mentioned in this review are just nice-to-haves, totally unnecessary. Still, having the ability to do them has made my life a hundred times easier. Update (Apr. 10, 2023): As of last July 2022, the beeper on this kettle broke. I moved about 20 miles down the road. I was careful with this kettle and wrapped it up with paper to cushion against a bumpy transport. I can hear the beep but it’s faint, to the point of being non-existent. I tried pressing the “hold temp” for 8 seconds to turn off and back on the beeper to see if the volume will be loud again, but it’s still faint. I’m a bit disappointed that the beeper stopped working after moving. At least the heating element on this thing still keeps going strong. The beeper’s a small thing, and I generally use the “hold temp” function as I’m in the other room, some 30 feet away, where I can hardly hear the beeper. I plan to use this thing until it breaks. Update (Aug 2, 2025): Twice now, while boiling water, this kettle went into a thermal runaway condition. It kept boiling and boiling and boiling. Touching the OFF button to stop it did nothing. I had to pull the plug. I contacted Cosori. Even though by this point I've had the kettle for 5+ years, the customer rep did a complimentary replacement. Now, that's CUSTOMER SERVICE! ... show more

I love this kettle! I use it for tea and broth. It heats fast and holds temp (with hold button). Has several selections for types of tea to heat to the correct temp. The gooseneck allows for perfect pour with no spilling.
