Love the trifecta of perfect functionality, classic design and yup, it is somehow cute too:). My favorite thing is the hold temperature button - so convenient to have hot water for an hour without having to reheat again. Reasonable price, good customer service, known quality and durability, and a certain level of trust in the product (brand) as I'm now officially a Cosori kitchen appliance fan - owner of their big water kettle - love the blue light glass kettle two years in and going strong. Easy to use. Lid works fine. Boiling time for 1-2 cups of water is also fine. While I use this to boil water only - for tea drinkers who prefer variable temperatures - there is that option. I chose this because it had a gooseneck, stainless steel, economical size, and met my needs: boil water, auto-shut off, and other design requirements. Note that I had used a black matte finish electric tea kettle until the black coating started coming off and finding its way into the water. This Cosori kettle is a great product. Highly recommended.

I bought this mainly for pour over coffee and it’s been great. The gooseneck spout gives you really good control over the pour, which makes it much easier to slowly saturate the grounds compared to using a regular kettle. It heats water surprisingly fast and the temperature presets are convenient depending on what you’re making. I usually use it for coffee but it’s nice having the options for tea as well. The controls on the base are simple and easy to figure out after using it once or twice. It also looks really nice on the counter and feels well made. Compared to a normal kettle, the controlled pour and temperature settings make a noticeable difference when brewing coffee. Overall it’s been a really solid kettle and a big upgrade from heating water the old way.

Absolutely a gem for pour over coffee or loose leaf tea making! The “HOLD TEMP” feature is awesome! Make sure to pressure this button on as you select the setting you’re using or before it is done heating. Heats water in minutes! Definitely under 5 minutes. Very simple button design. Illuminating buttons when activated. Stainless steel all around it appears! Great investment for coffee and/or tea lovers! No more microwave. Video: I am pouring cold water in a filter of fresh grounds I already used for the morning so ignore that. It’s good at showing the control you have when pouring though! I saved the grounds to see if I can use them as an exfoliant since they are organic. Anyway, this kettle plus my pour over carafe is my favorite purchase this year!!! I don’t see myself using the plastic-heavy coffee machine we have anymore. VeSync: we coincidentally have a scale that connects to the same app, so when I set it up I’ll add that information. As you can see it does collect lint on the matte finish. Just shows we need to dust more. I would 100% recommend.

Works very well. It has a wonderful aesthetic. I think it was worth the extra <$10 for the Bluetooth features. The pot itself is very sturdy and well-made. The base is also solid and metal. The touch-buttons are a snazzy edition. The pot heats up the water very quickly. I deduced 1 Star based on 2 things: cost and the handle. If I must be honest, I wish they offered a more premium feeling handle. It’s a solid plastic, but it still takes away from the overall feel. I would bite on one that cost yet another $10 for a wooden handle. A wooden handle would make this a 6 star pot! Bottom line: great tea pot with wonderful features. I just wish they offered a nicer handle. I would buy this again and I would recommend this product to a friend.

RECENT UPDATE: Recently COSORI reached out to me and remedied all my concerns and sent me out a brand new kettle and it’s working and looks amazing!!! So happy to be able to make my teas again. It’s amazing how different your teas taste when heating to the perfect temperature. CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS TIME WAS PERFECT! Worked great the first 2 1/2 years - loved that it has different temperatures for different types of teas and all. Used it frequently because how hot the tea I make needs to be and just made the tea taste the best. My only concern is it just started to act weird making strange popping noises when heating up, sadly not long when the warranty ran out. It started getting finicky a few months before that , it wouldn’t turn on sporadically. Then it would and heat up fine. I also noticed that around the spout near the bottom where it bends before connecting to the pot the black paint started to peel a little. But that didn’t bother as much as the very loud popping noises it would make so I just quit using it and got in touch with the company. But of course since the warranty is over they wouldn’t do anything about it. So now I’m in search of a different but similar tea kettle. In my humble opinion it should have lasted a lot longer thena few years. I’ve had coffee pots and blenders that have last way longer than that. Sadly I won’t be purchasing from this company again as I think they should stand behind their products. But if you want a tea kettle that does all this does (which is wonderful) but only lasts a couple years. I’d recommend it. Cord length is great, the auto shut off works perfectly but the ease of cleaning because of the small mouth of the pot makes it a bit of a challenge to clean well. I just made sure I rinsed it well after each use. That seemed to work.

As a long-time coffee enthusiast, I decided to take my home-brewing game to a new level a couple of months ago. The three cornerstones of quality home-brewing are: 1) a good grinder, 2) a precise scale, preferably one with a built-in timer, and 3) an efficient and reliable device to heat water. Our focus here is on the third element. After six weeks of rigorous daily use, brewing 2-3 cups of coffee each day, my electric coffee kettle has been performing pretty dang well. I felt compelled to write this review after reading some concerns about temperature accuracy. Naturally, I decided to put my kettle to the test. Using a high-end meat thermometer (which need to be accurate as people rely on them to prevent foodborne illnesses) I tested the temperature distribution of 500mL of water, freshly beeped from the kettle. This volume reflects my typical usage: I brew somewhere between one to two cups at a time, using 50mL to pre-rinse the filter and the rest for brewing. The results were impressive. The thermometer registered 204.3F at the top of the water and 205.2F at the bottom, indicating less than half a percent of error across the volume at the time of the beep. Importantly, the kettle pours from the bottom, where the temperature was virtually spot-on. These findings contradict some reviews I've seen. If your kettle isn't delivering the same performance, I'd advise contacting the company about a possible replacement. Remember, maintaining accurate temperatures is crucial for serious coffee brewing. Keep in mind, though, the kettle's maximum stated capacity is 800mL. Attempting to heat more than this could lead to a drop in temperature accuracy. This kettle marks my first 'serious' foray into coffee brewing, as opposed to boiling water in a stovetop saucepan. I appreciated its well-thought-out safety features. The bottom is exceptionally well-insulated and remains cool to the touch after brewing, eliminating any concern about damaging your countertop. However, the sides do heat up, which is to be expected. On top of that, it's very easy to use. Turn it on, choose a temp, and before it reaches temp, hit the Hold button to have it hold temp for up to an hour if you need to multitask. The pouring action is smooth and predictable, without any after-pour dripping from the spout. About the only other thing I'd want would be some kind of real-time temperature monitor (whether analog or digital) on the kettle itself to verify its ability to reach and hold temp over time. Considering the $70 price tag, I believe this kettle delivers 95-98% of the performance you'd get from considerably more expensive models. While I can see the appeal of the additional features offered by higher-end kettles as I continue to refine my coffee-brewing skills, I'm currently satisfied with the simplicity and functionality of this Cosori model.
