I love this awning! It's easy to put together and install, and does exactly what I bought it for. I'd give it 5 stars, but I went with 4 because the knob screws tend to come loose. I've noticed it a few times, and just tightened them, but on a really windy day, one of the knobs managed to shake loose and get lost, so now I'm on the hunt for a replacement. I'll be buying a handful, because I'm sure this will happen again. So if you buy one, check the knobs periodically to make sure they're tight.

Easy to put together, easy install. I love the way it looks and it goes up and down really easy like a window shade. In addition, we had a horrible storm, a tree fell but this was lowered to up and down position and it made it through no issues, I would recommend this shade awning to anyone looking.

Better than expected. Nice quality for the price. So much better than the umbrella I’d been using which would blow over in bit of wind. Adjusts easily to whatever height needed and secures tightly so house. Lightweight and easy to relocate if wanted. Does require 2 people for final assembly to roof/floor. Easy roll up and out and really like that side arms can adjust to different angles to block sun. Finally shade on a hot southern exposure deck.

Shipping was fast, I was able to put it together by myself and install it in under 2 hours. It was simple to put together, the instructions were easy to understand, the parts are all in bags and labeled with stickers, which makes it easy to assemble, and I only needed a Phillips screwdriver! It keeps the heat from coming into the room, so much so I can clearly feel the difference. I bought the khaki/beige color so it let's in the light, but keeps out a lot of the heat. Even though I was able to do everything myself, it would be more reasonable to assume it's a two person job. I don't know how it will do in higher winds or rain (we hardly get any), but I'll see how it does under the intense sun I get. I would, without hesitation, buy it again!
