I’ve been wearing hearing aids for over 15 years. I’ve had a number of different kinds. 15 years ago there weren’t any OTC available, it was all Rx styles. I’ve had Rx hearing aids that were custom fit in the canal style built from a mold of my ear and Rx behind the ear hearing aids both costing more than $3000 up to $5000. When my last pair of Rx Hearing Aids failed, I decided to try some of the OTC models and see if they would work for my specific hearing loss. Over the last two months I’ve tried a dozen different brands and models. I’ve returned every set except these ones. I set my parameters at; (1) in the canal, (2) under $500, (3) Comfortable, (4) Rechargeable, (5) Good battery life, and of course (6) improved my overall hearing. Every other set I tried fell short of at least one of my 6 criteria. For the most part, they were either uncomfortable, didn’t have enough gain to help me hear or suffered from constant squealing in my ears. These Karthus hearing aids surpassed all my expectations. They don’t squeal, they help me hear better in all frequency ranges, the batteries last all day, they are so light I sometimes forget they are in my ears and the price on Amazon is almost too good to be true. They have my highest recommendation. My one complaint is how much the wind negatively impacts the clarity of the devices. I was working outside yesterday in a fairly stiff breeze and had to take them out of my ears .. the wind noise was that distracting. But to trade off the wind noise outside for the improvement they’ve given me listening to the TV and talking to my wife is a no-brainer for me.

I bought these headphones as a gift for my mom, and I was very satisfied with the purchase. They arrived very well packaged, and from the first use, the excellent sound quality was evident—clear and balanced. They are very comfortable, fit well in the ear, and don't fall out, even when moving around or wearing them for several hours. The battery lasts a long time, and the charging case is convenient for taking them anywhere. Overall, they perfectly deliver on their promises and work very well for calls, music, and everyday use.

These are good sound amplifiers. In the home they're perfect. When in the car they can be too loud. In a restaurant they're ok as you can hear all conversations not just at your table.

The sound is clear, and the noise reduction makes conversations much more comfortable. They fit nicely in the ear and are discreet, which is a big plus. I also like the long battery life and the rechargeable case—it’s very convenient for daily use. Overall, they feel well made, practical, and truly helpful for everyday hearing. Highly recommend.

The page does not specify the waterproof rating, and it short-circuits directly after being slightly wet on rainy days. The customer service service shirks responsibility by saying it is 'improper use', and the repair fee is almost as much as the price of a new product. It's a scam!

Since I started using them, I’ve noticed an improvement when listening to everyday conversations. They are comfortable, discreet, and don’t cause discomfort. The adjustment was easy, and the sound feels natural. Overall, they perform their function well.

1st - these hearing aids keep making a high-pitched whistling noise, which is LOUD & hurts my father's ears. 2nd - They DO NOT stay put in his ears! He'll just be sitting on the couch watching TV & one of them will just randomly fall out. Or if he's eating, it will fall out, or when he's walking - you guessed it, it falls out! And Yes, we've tried all 3 sizes of the ear plugs in small, medium, & large but none of them fit properly in his ears. So how is he supposed to use these if they won't even stay put & snug in his ears??? And finally, the quality is just "Okay". These work somewhat to help him hear, but the quality of sound is off & not very clear. I know as well b/c I tried them out & wasn't really impressed. I especially hate the high-pitch whistling noises that randomly go off when he's wearing them, & I can hear it from another room! (Yes, that's how loud of a sound it's making in his ears). To sum up this review, would I recommend this product? NO! Look for another brand & maybe spend a few extra bucks on a more reliable pair of hearing aids.
