Instructions were clear except the part about the washers. The description said one washer but the picture shows two, so I wast sure how many to use. The pictures could have also been more detailed since there are seals in it already, but I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to put washers on top or not. I figured out I did need to put extra washers in, since it did start leaking. otherwise, i love it! its very nice that I can move around the head as needed. The water pressure was perfect, not too much or too little. Worth the money, 8 inch was the perfect size! Works very well and seems sturdy so far!

Some of the reviews on this left me afraid that I'd made a mistake until it got here. Everything was fine with the shower head and I bought a second one after installing the first because it's so awesome. I purchased the 12 inch size in November of 2023. There are several pieces to put together, but taking the time to read the instructions makes this pretty easy. I bought a tape for the male connectors that was labeled "water and gas." It was more expensive at the hardware store, but it is a much thicker tape. There was some leaking after the first attempt, so I took it apart in the places where there were leaks and put more tape on and tightened it. You must put tape on EVERY male connector, not just the one coming out of the wall. It wasn't a big deal at all to put more tape on and tighten until it was right because I had already figured out how to put it together. I also used a step stool to get up high enough to see what was going on and ensure that things were tightened. You just need a bit of patience to get it right, but the payoff is HUGE. When this thing is installed properly, you feel completely enveloped in warm water. It's as if you are standing under a waterfall - really! As some reviewers mentioned, the hose to the handheld is a little shorter than the one that I took off. That's not a big deal to me, but if it is a problem then you can buy hoses that are longer. There is no concern for tall people if your current shower is not a problem. I also included a side view to give you an idea of what the height might be once it is installed. It's even with the spout, so if anything this is several inches higher than the old one that I took off. That arm is adjustable, so if you want it to be lower, then it can be with no problems. The waterfall head does not have a ton of water pressure. It would be uncomfortable if it did and isn't meant to have loads of pressure. The waterfall is the most pleasant shower experience ever. I use the handheld with pressure to rinse my hair. It is included for shower tasks that need a bit more pressure. The highest pressure setting is VERY strong. I switch back and forth as needed. The handheld attachment holder goes onto the wall with an adhesive. It can be placed anywhere you want it to be, which is awesome. You want to clean the wall very, very well first, then feel the wall to make sure that there isn't any soap scum in that area. If there is, then clean it again. Once it is clean, then rub alcohol onto the spot where you want to place it and adhere it onto the wall. The bottom line is that you do need a bit of patience because there are several male connectors that need taped up very well and tightened with a wrench. You may need to do this more than once to eliminate leaks. It's not the end of the world. It's a twenty minute temporary inconvenience to get it right and when it is finished, I can enthusiastically tell you that you'll have the best shower of your life every single day.

I love this shower head, it's gentle and wide enough to mostly cover my body, and the separate attachment is nice for cleaning the shower (and my husband likes that it offers a stronger pressure). The only bad thing about this was that it caused a lot of stress to hook up without having any leaks. We live in a rental and it got to a point where I had had to set it up and then unattached and reattach every freaking joint (there's way too many connections in this thing btw) like 6 times, and I almost caved and hired a professional plumber to hook up this shower head. I was at a point of total defeat, crying even. Finally I decided to do some more research and watched a lot of online tutorials, and finally gave it another go, one connection at a time, making sure each one did not leak before I went onto the next. I belive the issue was the plumbing tape and the number of times I wrapped the threads...after using a better quality tape (mainly bc I had run out of the small amount provided in the kit after trying so many times), and doing a 6 layer wrap, rather than suggested 3, I got it to work with mostly no leaks. I still have a very small, slow leak coming from the ball joint in the shower head itself, but I was at my limit and just went with it. Another issue was the very poor quality of the attachment holder...it just wouldn't stay on the tile, so I bought an inexpensive suction one and it works well, and looks a lot nicer than the one that came with the head. It's been about a month so far and no more complaints here.

This is an amazing product. Works great the water pressure isn't as good on the shower since I moved out of the city and I have well water. But that's probably a personal thing but when I lived in the city it worked fantastic. I love the fact that I can lift it up higher because I'm tall and the extensions and everything worked great as well
