    • Great Showerhead at a Budget Price!

I purchased the 2.5 gallon per minute model as I wanted a showerhead that was better than the 1.8 gpm that we have been using. This is a budget showerhead and as to be expected, it is made out of plastic. It looks nice and it's fairly streamlined but anyone can see that it is plastic chrome. But this shower head works so well that I'll gladly buy it again if only lasts a few years! Installation is very easy but just be careful to install the hose so the correct fitting is attached to the shower head and it will slip into the mount on the water pipe. This showerhead actually has different settings! We've had several showerheads where there was minimal difference between the settings. There are two settings that really provide a lot of waterflow. One setting provides a more forceful water flow and the other setting is more gentle but with a lot of water and these are the two settings that I think most people will use. The setting for almost shutting off the water (it allows a small amount of water to keep coming out) might help with the typical problem created by stopping the water flow, and then when it resumes, you get a burst of cold water. The two settings on the back of the head are a great bonus for when you need a really strong water stream. We've only had it installed a couple of days, so I can't say how long the showerhead will hold-up but I think that if cared for properly and not abused, it should last for a reasonable amount of time. If you have a ceramic tile floor or other very hard floor, I'd be careful not to let it make a hard fall onto the floor as it is a plastic head. The hose seems to be good, and it is quite flexible. My final thought is that if you want a inexpensive showerhead that performs well, then order this one and try it out. If you want your showerhead to look "high end" to go with a glamorous shower enclosure, then this is not the product for you, and you will need to spend a lot more money just to match the performance of this showerhead. ... show more

Note: first pic is of my unit installed, second pic is of my old shower head that was removed using a monkey wrench to loosen the assembly, thereby making it easier to unscrew. I must first admit that I was a skeptic about this when I saw this product pop up on a Facebook ad. As I always do when I see something on one of the social media sites being advertised, I first check to see if it's available retail, both on Amazon and major retailers. If so, then I have a little bit more faith in that product. After checking out Amazon reviews of this product, and realizing the price was unbeatable, especially with the $5 off coupon, I took the plunge and bought this product. Let me say it has by far surpassed ALL of my expectations and hopes. I chose the 2.5 gallon version, which I highly recommend over the smaller capacity one, but was worried that it would be a pain in the butt to install. It wasn't. Installation was literally as simple as unscrewing my shower head from the overhead pipe, then taking this and screwing on the attachment. Once I did that, I placed the thing in its holder and was ready to go. Installation took literally less than 5 minutes. It is simple to install, and no extra tools are needed unless your current shower head requires that you get a monkey wrench to unscrew it from the water pipe, as opposed to simply unscrewing it by hand. I mention this because this unit will not work if your shower head is a ball shower head that does not unscrew from the main water pipe. However, here's a helpful bit of advice regarding that: your actual shower head might be attached via a ball head, so to speak, but that entire ball head with the shower head on it may likely be attached to the main water pipe that's sticking out by a traditional screw-on attachment. That was my situation. In that case, you still will be able to unscrew the entire shower head assembly from the main water pipe. You may need a monkey wrench and a squirt of WD40 if your assembly hasn't been removed in a long time or not at all. Either way, it's simple. Once my new unit was installed by screwing it on, I was good to go. One of the absolutely best features of this item is its "power washing" capability. This allows the removable shower head sprayer to act as a power washer to clean your shower walls and more, and believe me. It is a powerful stream of water! In sum, I give this product my highest recommendation. It is one superb product! ... show more
