Finally set the shade sail up ! We have a pavilion and want to buy a shade sail to block the UV and heat . However the first time I didn’t measure the length and width ended up buying a “Mini “one . This time I bought the largest size as you can see in the picture I have attached. It is long enough but not wide enough lol . So my advice is : measure it before you buy it! Have only had it set up a little while but have have a few strong thunder storms come thru and they have held up nicely. I had a pretty good idea of what it would take to get all 4 anchor points set for them prior to buying. I did have to make some adjustments to the anchors points during install. But I expected that. I did set them up so I can take them down easily if we get something like a hurricane or expect really strong winds. ... show more

    • Good shade
We purchased a large shade sail for our patio and this is really big and shades pretty well for what we need. It has rained several times and each time, after things dry out we make the ropes for the sail tighter. Rain does pass through and goes right to the middle, so the sag is pretty bad, passes through alright. Everything under it will get wet, but we figured it would be that way. We placed this right behind our backdoor to keep the morning sun from heating our kitchen too much in the summer. It has helped a lot. Our patio is 25'X30" so the sail covers most of it. If this lasts till colder weather, I will be happy enough. I would recommend using pulleys on each corner and attaching this to something tall. If you use just the side of your house, once it sags, it makes it easier to tighten the ropes again. ... show more

Very good quality,sturdy D-rings that could accept most types and sizes of ropes for installation.I use it for temporary shade and it works perfect for this purpose.It is very easy install requiring no or less efforts.Takes very little space when folded and makes small neat package that can be taken anywhere,provides good sun protection too.I love the color by the way! ... show more

These shades are nice and thick, no bleed through of needles of light. However, the material is slightly translucent, so they do allow some light through so it is not dark underneath. These have a kind of hourglass shape, i.e., they are not perfectly square, so there are small gaps between adjacent shades (we put up 3 in a row), but that is fine. I have not had them that long, but they seem durable. And dust/debris seemed to shake right off. ... show more

During the summer of 2021 Washington state experienced temps like Las Vegas.. UNBEARABLE HEAT- for which now we have the massive wildfires- anyhow- this shade is in the front of my house, covers my pourch and windows and cuts the heat from the sun considerably!! this works.. I wont leave up all year, so no need to coment on wind.. but we dont get to much of any wind till winter with the norearns blowing. so great buy and I recommend this!! ... show more
