It's very inexpensive but I made a two day project of installing the light strip in the top of my kitchen cabinets for early morning subdued lighting while we wake up. It's worth it to glue in many extra clips to hold the light strip since the adhesive backing on the strip itself is pretty weak.

I have purchased six of these. They do a great job for accent lighting at many desks at work. I like how you can dim the light by holding down the button. It will flash when it is at maximum dimness or brightness. These are easy to install and you can trim them at the pre-specified points when you don’t need the whole length. I recommend the 3000 K color temperature, because the bright white (6000 K) are too bright and painful to look at. They look like an alien spaceship. Overall, I am very satisfied with all six of them which I have installed at my workplace and thus far the AC adapters and the lights are still working. These are easy to install. if you have to wrap it around a corner, I recommend extra sticky tape so it will hold better.
