This is my second pair of these to buy. My husband has pretty serious hearing loss, hearing aids are very expensive, constantly need batteries, and were not work well for him. He had given up and so had I. I was tired of it being so hard to communicate with him. I tried these out of desperation, thinking well they aren't expensive what have I got to lose?? He can actually hear!! Not perfect, but that's part of his hearing problem. I can actually carry on a conversation with him, and he can hear the TV at a normal level. He says the sound is a little different than normal hearing, but we are both so excited he can hear!! I bought his second pair as a backup. I love these things. ... show more

Not bad for amplifier type hearing aids. Good for an emergency back up. Accurate on hours of battery charge. Nice noncharging carrying case. Bit too uncomfortable and too much echo and buzz for regular use, though.

So I bought these hearing aides for an older friend with significant hearing loss, 79 yrs old and never had hearing aides before. These are outstanding!! He could hear right away and I was encouraging him to continue to use them; I have been a Social Worker with lots of elders with hearing loss and I know it's an adjustment for folks; hearing is in the brain not the ears!! The hearing aids are packaged beautifully with all of the needed accessories; ie, charger, extra silicone tips, cleaning brush, carrying case. So happy and satisfied with the quality!!! ... show more
