  • Very comfortable with good sound.
Color: Beige
This is my 3rd hearing aid. The first one was MD Hearing behind the ear. O erar glasses and loud noise was made every time I moved my head. The second was an Receiver in ear. While this worked better, it was uncomfortable and screeching was a problem. Also, they hurt my ears so I did not wear them very much. I received these and they came with multiple rubber ear peices. I like the vented style as it sounded more natural, and it was much better at reducing chewing noise. They are very comfortable I almost forget I am wearing them. My hearing loss is moderate up to 2000 hz, and severe above 4000 hz. You can test for free at checkhearing.org, no registration needed. My hearing improved by 20 decibels. I like the Loud Environment option the best as unexpected noises are much less significant. ... show more

  • Do Not BUY!!!! WASTE OF MONEY
Color: Graphite
There is an echo while in hearing mode. The buds can’t adjust volume very well and the one ear I need help with can’t even hear it. I even downloaded the app to help but it didn’t at all. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

  • Does not stay-put in ear.
Color: Beige
First the good part. These were easy to pair via bluetooth to my Android phone. They worked well on phone calls, alarms, etc. Also, it was easy to access the buttons to answer phone calls and raise and lower volume. However, I could not get them to stay-put in my ears no matter which set of ear cups I used. They kept falling out; tilt head to one side, and the one on that side falls out. Sometimes, not even tilting head, just moving around and they fall out. Also, since they don't fit far enough into the ear canal, the sound volume varies. This makes them useless to me. They may work for others depending on the ability to fit one's ear canals. The charger holds enough power to charge the hearing aids 3 times. But, the charge only has a short built in pigtail with a male USB-C plug. This works only if you have a computer or powerbank to recharge from; trying to use with a wall outlet charging block is not at all practical since the unit requires something to rest on due to short pigtail. Or, you need to a longer cord with a USB-C female end, which is not provided. ... show more

  • Comfortable, but not the longest lasting
Color: Cloud White
They work alright but I have 70 out of 120 decibels of hearing loss in one ear and it helps but still not enough to truly change my life. The ear buds on Bluetooth mode drop the hearing boost mode when notifications go off which can be super inconvenient but they can be individually changed to hearing aid only mode so I keep one in bluetooth and one in hearing aid mode. *Update* the left ear bud seems to only have half volume at most and Ive never had that happen with any other set of ear buds. ... show more

  • Good sound, great control of sound quality, excellent value
Color: Cloud White
So I changed out some Audien Atom units for these. The switch gear crapped out on one Audien unit in the first month, was replaced, and now two years later both went south. For similar money the JLab units offer some handy improvements. Multiple environment conditions, plus the ability to tailor the frequency spectrum with the Hearing app. means you can avoid that booming screeching over driven sound simple amplifiers give you in a crowded area it acrestuarant. These are not small, but the sound is quite good. Throw in the Bluetooth connectivity and you have so much more functionality compared to other units (including Audien) in the price range. The ventilated bud ear pieces are really nice. I achieved a good solid fit but avoided the occlusion of my ears that so often makes one feel one is under water with unvented earpieces. 10 hours battery life with Bluetooth off is a useable service duration for my needs and I can quickly top the buds off by dropping them into the case for a quick charge if need be. There are no physical switches to get wet or corroded, unlike the old Audien units or others at this price. everything is controlled by haptic touch or through the app. I am well pleased. ... show more

  • Good, not great
Color: Graphite
For the price, I think these are worth it. Others in this class are $100 more. It can be echoey and is not great in wind, but works well for one on one convos. I can't use them in loud restaurants. I find them comfortable and super easy to charge. (I have mild-moderate hearing loss)

  • It's worth the effort!
Color: Beige
I am impressed by the very good design, impressive packaging and instructions. Don't expect instant success, as there is a leaning curve. At first they fell out of my ears, so I reread the instructions and tried the cush fins. They fit fine now, but I still need a mirror to get them seated just right. I am still learning to press in the right spot to adjust volume level and kind of environment, but I can easily adjust them with the JLab app on my cell phone. I got them to hear soft-spoken people in group discussion, so I need to be able to adjust quickly from soft to loud-spoken people. That takes practice! JLab otcHear earbuds are my first hearing aids. They are amazing, and I am very happy as I learn to use them. ... show more

  • Do not buy
Color: Graphite
Sound quality is great , everything else is barely functional. Bluetooth is the worst, barely connects from my front pocket and will cut in and out with any kind of moment( have tested with other Bluetooth devices and it's not my phone) . Microphone is ok for phone calls , but for the hearing aid mode it only picks up noise within a few feet of you, great if you wanna hear yourself chew. User interface is frustrating, tapping it further into ear when you want to change a setting is irritating . The app for your phone is about useless compared to what I've seen with other brands. Might gift them to someone I dislike , but most likely going in the trash. Battery life lasts longer than my will to use them . ... show more
