These hearing aids are excellent and customer service 5 stars. Made the mistake of buying Bose When I had a problem with them you can’t find them they just wanna sell you extra insurance which you could buy another pair so they’ll keep trying to sell you the product but they don’t stand by their product. These hearing aids, are nice and small. The weight of the aids is super light as I dont feel them much in my ears. The are many adapters for your ear, so you should be a able to get a good fit in the ear. The battery life is good, as it lasted over 25 hours, and the manufacturer states it will last over 30 hours. Be advised you have to have a smartphone in regards to the product being registered to use, so this might be an issue for you. I dont wear glaases expect to read and did mot interfear with, them. These hearing aids are very expensive at over $1100.00 dollars is a big hit. Although since Jabra is a company has been around since1983 thats 40 years!! It is a good company when it comes to ear devices, speakers and ear buds. If you are gonna spend this amount of money this is the manufacturer I would use. Overall If insurance can help, it can be a good purchase for you. ... show more

I was pretty unhappy that to use the hearing aids you MUST register the product and download an app. There are people who will find the entire process extremely challenging. I completed the registration, app download and activation process in about 30 minutes and scanned the user guide. I do not have severe hearing loss, so it is hard to say how much better these work than my very inexpensive hearing aids I recently acquired (that don't require an app). From my phone I am able to adjust the sound in each ear individually and adjust for background noise. I did find that I was getting a good deal of static sound on my initial use, but keep in mind I am learning how to use them. The device has a three year warranty, and they offer help fine tuning the hearing aid and a hearing test through the app. I did not want to try those because I didn't know if there are additional charges to those! That would be very important to know, and I did not see the word "free" anywhere. In fact, it says they are included with the Premium Package, and they are not medically diagnostic. Did I pay for the Premium Package when I got the device? Eventually, I figure out these services are included in the purchase (though I don't know if there are hidden costs). You will get a lot of phone calls and emails after activating your device. Because I do not have severe hearing loss, I will be sticking to the cheaper simpler pair I purchased. These may be best to use if recommended by your auditory specialist, and if you have their help setting up. They are not simple if you want to do things yourself. ... show more
