A while back I ordered the Supermini hearing aids from Vivtone, and I have been very happy with everything about them. When I found out that they have a new model called Nova that are even better, I couldn't imagine they would be better than my Superminis. I took a chance and ordered them, as I did want to have a backup pair in case I do something like jump in the pool with them in my ears, which I almost did, because they are so comfortable I forgot I was wearing them. To my pleasant surprise, they are even better. The Novas have 9 volume levels as opposed to 5, and they have 3 background noise filter levels as opposed to 2. They have an incredibly natural sound, and the background noise filter works wonders on being able to hear every word of the person you are talking to in a noisy restaurant. As with all in the canal hearing aids, you need to do some experimentation with the different size cones to get them to the best performance/comfort level. If I could give these devices more than 5 stars I would do it. It's also worth mentioning that the staff at Vivtone deserves 5 stars also. I had some questions to ask and Cindy was quick to respond, and did so in a very friendly and competent manner. Vivtone has been a pleasure to deal with. I am 76 years old, and I am hearing like I did in my 40's.

I got this device for my father, and it has made such a difference in his daily life. He used to miss parts of conversations and had trouble following along when the whole family was chatting or when the TV was on. Now, with this, he can hear clearly, join in quickly, and doesn’t feel left out anymore. The sound is natural and clear, and it really cuts down background noise so he doesn’t get overwhelmed when multiple people are talking. What I like most is how simple it is to use—the controls are straightforward, and even he figured it out right away without any struggle. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and makes things so much easier for him. Definitely worth it!
