  • Perfect Lighting For My Two-Baby-Male Florida Blue & Gold Thamnophis sirtalis
Size: 48W(30"-36")
I really dig this Hygger LED Panel. I have a 67-gallon enclosure for my two-baby-male Florida Blue & Gold Thamnophis sirtalis; hence, I purchased the 46-watt 30”-36” Hygger Panel. I ended up returning the 46-watt 30”-36”; and, I purchased and now using the 72-watt 48”-55” Hygger LED panel. The Hygger LED Panel lights up my entire enclosure; and, the Hygger LED Panel exposes all the vibrant colors in the enclosure. Check our the pictures I attached to my review. It is easy to program; and, the directions are cogent. I have the white lights on during the day; and, the blue lights on at night. Per Hygger’s marketing material, the LED panel is designed ONLY to illuminate; the LED panel does not provide any heat, UVA, nor UVB; hence, for reptiles, you will need to get devices for heating, UVA, and UVB, and use those additional devices in conjunction with the Hygger LED Panel. I have two LED bulbs, 5-watts each, which provide UVA and UVB at different ends of my enclosure; and, I have a 50-watt halogen bulb for day-heating and a 100-watt ceramic heat emitter (non light-emitting) for night-heating for my two-baby-male Florida Blue & Gold Thamnophis sirtalis. I use these additional four devices with my Hygger LED Panel, and my lighting, heating, and UVA and UVB set-up is complete. The Hygger LED Panel is nicely constructed; it feels durable and has substance when held in my hands. I like that it is water resistant; though, because my enclosure is for reptiles, exposure to water won’t be an issue for my Hygger LED Panel. I really like the low-profile design; because, it looks like it was made for the enclosure. The night-mode lighting, which is factory-set to blue and can be changed, reminds me of the clear nights I experienced at Lake Tahoe during the summer season — stunning. I received the Hygger LED Panel, on 28-May-2021, at 1130 Hours PDT...I will update this review once I get more time with it. Based on the quality construction and the LED bulbs, I anticipate the Hygger LED Panel will last a long time; and, I anticipate it will continue to perform at a 5-star level, as time passes. The Hygger LED Panel was exactly the lighting product I wanted for my 67-gallon snake enclosure. It met and exceeded my expectations. I’m elated by the performance of this product; and, I believe my two-baby-male Blue & Gold Thamnophis sirtalis love the lighting, too; although, they have not told me; because, they are only one-month old. ;-) I’m so glad I purchased the Hygger LED Panel. • Very bright, should work well for planted tanks, but.........
Size: 26W(18"-24")
UPDATE Dec 30, 2022: Hygger has been very good throughout this issue, always getting back to me, and exchanging lights. As it turns out, there was a firmware mistake which prevented the Dusk function from working properly. Once they ran some tests on a returned light, they discovered it, and they readily admitted it. They then let me know when the batch with the new firmware would be available. The updated version works perfectly! This light is great for plants and put out plenty of visual light. My wife's plants do very well with it. And Hyyger's Customer Service is excellent as well! Initial Review: My wife needed a light for a new 20 gal planted tank. We already had the same model in 48in/72W. So, the 26W light was the choice, mainly because of the brightness. The problems are simple: Programming. My other, bigger big light is exactly the same way, a pain. Our first 26W unit couldn't be programmed properly. Since they didn't bother to send a manual, we used the one from our nearly 4 year old unit. Since I was somewhat used to them, programming didn't seem to be too bad. All I did was set the time, and the length of time I wanted the light on. That way, it should ramp up, and then ramp down prior to going on and off, simulating dawn and dusk. Dawn worked fine, but I could not stop dusk from ramping down halfway, and then switching off completely. After pulling my hair out, I sent it back for a replacement. The new one made it with a manual, but I had the same issues. The manual is very incomplete, and in English written by someone who is Chinese. It really needs to be rewritten by someone who really speaks English, and a Troubleshooting section added. Sunset and sunrise are mirror images of each other. Increase to about 50%, wait 1 hour, and then over 15 min increase to 100%. Sunset should be the same. Decrease to 50% over 15 minutes, hold that for an hour, and then decrease to off, over 15 minutes. Our light decreases to about 2% and holds that for an hour. Still awaiting a reply.... This could be a 5 Star light, even though it is made in China, but it's poor programming methods hurt it badly! ... show more

  • Great light, some issues
Size: 60W(36"-42")
Great light overall, very easy to program. I've had mine since last December. It's got a couple of drawbacks. You can't program the intensity of the preset daytime/nighttime mode....and the DIY mode works most ofthe time. I sometimes have to go thru the DIY setup mode to get it to trigger the next phase. (I have the last hour if full spectrum light ending at 8pm, and blue spectrum should go til 9; but it won't always change over as scheduled) ... show more

i LOVE this light! it’s so easy to use, it fits perfectly, and the timer is awesome! it’s very sleek and not bulky, so it looks good for any tank. the light intensity, color, and timer are all adjustable. even better than all of that.. my plants love it! they are bright and grow like crazy.

  • Good value for your money.
Size: 72W(48"-55")
Good color and brightness. Easy to program and operate. Highly recommended light. Only criticism is there is no memory. If the power is pulled.... time and settings seem to go, too.
