    • New defective parts.
I purchased this 55 gal tank set it up and added my fish. Turned on the led hood lights that came with it brand new and all they do is flicker. I contacted Amazon and was told I had to return the wole item for a replacement. Not an easy task to empty 55 gal of water and house 2 large cichlid fish and wait who knows how long for another tank the fish would be dead by that time. So they don't want to send me led lights I'll buy my own it's not like they are made into the fish tank lids they come in a bag completely separate and have to install them into the lids. Wouldn't be hard to just send me some more lights but no they want the whole tank back. Sorry customer service to a person that's been a customer for years and has spend 1000s of dollars on Amazon. I'll just start shopping elsewhere from now on. Parts new are very poorly made on this product. ... show more

Be careful before ordering. The tank is 48” wide. The width in the photo description says 30”.

    • Wanted a complete setup, but
The media could not be loaded. The LED lights and proprietary design mean I need to go out and find proper hood lights for my tank. They do not accept returns on broken parts and their 10 LED light strips are inherently defective. Reviews on replacements and hoods show they last hours to months and fail, flicker, etc. Mine lasted 10 minutes and now just turns off and on and no way to replace but send back an entire 55gal tank. This design pack is not worth buying, and these gimmick light systems are a shame. Bring back T12 and T5 hoods as the norm. Even half the array is broken on my tetra led light for a 2.5g. Cheap, inherently flawed products. The cheap products coupled with price of the tank make this a rip off. ... show more
