Very sturdy and easy to assemble! I think a piece of the top cover they gave me was wrong but I didn't need it anyway so tossed it, but it was for the light to stick to the lid cover. No leakage so that's good!

I set up a planted/dirted tank in this. I use the included Hang on back filter part of the time and I also mostly rely on a different sponge filter. The tank is great. The light strip for me in the 29 gallon tank was a single and solid hard plastic strip and clips into the lid. It's fantastic. It does have a rocker switch to turn it on and off but I just hooked it up to a wifi plug so I could set a schedule. The lid is cheap plastic like others have said but it works just fine. It's not like you've got fish dancing on top of it. It's not going to break The filter for me is fairly quiet. You can hear the impeller if you listen for it but the sound of the waterfall, even when it's just a short fall, drowns that out for me. I can't think of anything negative to say about this tank. It brough some great looking fish into my home and I'm exited to see what else I can add ... show more

    • Filter and light are broken and wrong

The tank is fine, great actually, has lots of space for my betta, some shrimp and 2 snails, it’s very beautiful when it’s planted and I like it a lot. The major complaint I have is the lid and filter. I have had this fish tank less than 2 weeks and the filter is already ruined, it randomly starts and stops and stutters and makes this grinding sound often as well, I only have aqua soil as a bedding so I’m not sure why the filter is messing up. Secondly, the light is completely different from the instructions, it’s not a little strip of 3 small lights but instead a weird light bar that is an awkward size that doesn’t actually fit anywhere on the lid, I’ve tried looking up videos and everyone has a different light from me somehow. Since lighting and filtration are some of the most important things in a fish tank I want to say I am highly disappointed and regret buying this. I could’ve gotten a plain 10 gallon tank and boughten a light and filter separately for cheaper than this. Only unless you are a beginner with no experience or super lazy should you get this, but even then, just buy everything separately, then the filter and light won’t fail on you so early! ... show more

Got everything as expected. Didn't crack at all despite a few rocks falling against the glass while full of water. Looks great despite not being rimless. It can hold a lot of weight, and 2 people can easily put it up onto a stand. Silicone could be smoother, though, but no leaks so far. Got all the other products as well. The filter is LOUD when put onto a lighter flow and if uneven will only pour water out of 1 side, but you can even it out easily but the noise is still there. Heater after works very well and heats to 76f, I think the red notch at the top is adjustable for the temperature? Not sure 'cause I couldn't turn it. ... show more

Holds water, filter works. Waiting on the heater to cycle the water to temp and the good bacteria to work it out. Very quiet. You hear the water more than the pump motor.

The media could not be loaded. Very happy with this purchase! Comes with everything you need except decorations and Bubblers. Seals are sturdy and packaged well. I did add a 2nd heater to warm the water faster but not needed if you are patient and add warmer water at time of fill. Moved my fish from 30 gallon to this one and they have so much more room. ... show more
