Tank seems well build but the pump is very loud and too strong. It killed 6 fish within the first few hours. No way to adjust the flow rate. Now we have to drive back to the pet store an hour away and buy more fish for my son. Very disappointed.

Tank is sturdy. The lights work great. The filter on the other hand doesn’t work so well, I had to replace it with a different better one. The temperature gauge works good. The heater works amazing.

The media could not be loaded. Everything worked out great. I was replacing my old 55 tank because the brace came apart from the middle of the tank, and there were also cracks starting to form around the top and bottom of frame. Didn’t use the lights though, considering it was so close to the water, and actually IN THE TANK. Used my old hang on filters, but will keep the one in the box for emergencies. I set up a planted/dirted tank in this. I use the included Hang on back filter part of the time and I also mostly rely on a different sponge filter. The tank is great. The light strip for me in the 29 gallon tank was a single and solid hard plastic strip and clips into the lid. It's fantastic. It does have a rocker switch to turn it on and off but I just hooked it up to a wifi plug so I could set a schedule. The lid is cheap plastic like others have said but it works just fine. It's not like you've got fish dancing on top of it. It's not going to break The filter for me is fairly quiet. You can hear the impeller if you listen for it but the sound of the waterfall, even when it's just a short fall, drowns that out for me. I can't think of anything negative to say about this tank. It brough some great looking fish into my home and I'm exited to see what else I can add ... show more
