I got the XS for my puppy and it was so easy to put it on & take it off! The leash is short but I think it’s perfect for train walking and generally keeping him close & away from stuff he shouldn’t get into! :) he bites on the leash a lot but it’s been holding on really well despite the bites and holes he’s put into it! He pulls so much so I also love that it doesn’t choke him like a regular leash would He’s reaching a little over 20 pounds now so I’m planning to order a bigger size before he can’t fit in it anymore. Great product in my opinion, would buy again for any dog Update: ended up buying a bigger size, he outgrew the original pretty quick! He isss older so he bit through the leash and ripped it up :( he also gnawed on the harness buttons which ended up making the buttons not work at all anymore, rendering harness useless. Still a great first harness for pups, honestly wouldn’t buy for a teething dog but I’d buy again for a pup or older dog ... show more

I purchased this product twice as my golden retriever got bigger. Loved the collar and harness but because he is an aggressive chewer, I had to replace the leash. Overall great product and cheaper than Petco.

Ordered on Feb 16th and it broke on April 19th. The harness is decent quality. It’s comfortable and easy to adjust. Then the company cheaps out on the buckles. The buckles are the most important part of the harness! What’s the point of producing a well made harness if the ONE THING you need to use the harness is the cheapest part and breaks? Granted, the harness isn’t that expensive but I’d expect it to last longer than two months. Another downside is you can’t replace the buckles because they are sewn in. What a POS. If you need a harness for 2 months then this is the product for you. If you want something that will last, look elsewhere. ... show more

I purchased this reasonably priced harness for only one reason. My 6 month old Cardi was having a difficult time climbing our very steep wooden stairs. He only has to go up once at bedtime and down again in the morning. His body length and short legs really made it very difficult for him. I purchased this harness with the handle strap on the back to give him the support and stability he needed. This is my 2nd harness buying from this particular seller. I have a Blue Heeler. When we got him we ordered an XS. He grew into it and then out grew it. It fit him he during his 2-4 month phase. At the 5 month mark we had to go up a size so now he's into a small. This thing works great. He's gotten scared a couple of times when out for a walk and tried to pull away backwards on me. This thing held on tight. The leash is pretty sturdy too. My blue heeler is now 6 months. About as tall as he's gonna get, but should fill out more in girth. He's 33 pounds at the moment. A adult blue heeler averages between 35-50 pounds. With that being said, I'll probably have to go up to a medium once my heeler fills out more. This is a good buy!
