Nowhere it is noted or specified that a it needs a clearance of about 7 inches above the mounting to install it. I bought it, assembled it and when I was attempting to mount it I realized the 7 inches clearance was essential, otherwise it cannot be mounted on the supports on the wall or structure used to mount it. I wasted one full day unpacking, assembling, prepping to mount then disassembling, packing and taking it to UPS for return.

A quality product with a reasonable price. It deserves a 5 stars rating for the product except the instruction is terrible. The assemble process is not as difficult as some people wrote. We are very pleased and enjoying it.

Instructions are in metric and it gives measurements for two different size kits and will confuse most inexperienced installers used to standard. The description says safe for light rains but the instructions on the very last page say warning do not use in rain. We shall see how that does as that is why i got it for light rains.
