LOVE IT! This is a tough, strong, yet light weight coverlet. Feels like a soft quilt. Has a quilt feel to it. A lot of "light-weight" bedding translates to cheaply made and too thin. Not this one though. Quality, good fabric, nice stitching. I am THRILLED to find an over-sized queen that is truly an over-sized queen! I have a tall queen-sized bed. I often have had to use a king-sized spread or comforter on it, but then the king-sized shams are too big. This over-sized queen size is just as stated and I finally have shams that match. The color on the green is as pictured, which has not been the case with others I have tried. I haven't washed it yet, so I can't speak to that. I am aware it is 100% cotton so I won't be washing it on hot. I did iron the shams because they had been folded for shipping. The spread laid out nicely and I did not need to iron it. I thought it would be more wrinkled after being folded for shipping, but it smoothed out very well. I do think the quality is a really good value for the money. I will say there was a defect in one sham. As I look at the rest of it I truly think it was a one-off error and not a quality issue and Amazon resolved it. I recommend this coverlet set. It's what I have been looking for for years.

I tried waaaayyy too many comforters and quilts to go over the thin blanket on my bed for when I want to be a little warmer, and too often you end up smothered with heat. This 100% cotton quilt is the perfect weight, light but substantial, and breathes so well I almost never find myself trapped in a bubble of heat. Cotton quilts and comforters can often feel a little rough, especially 100% cotton, no blend. This quilt, however, is beautifully soft and smooth and has only gotten softer with washing. I was honestly shocked by how soft it turned out to be, almost comparable to my beloved bamboo lightweight blankets. You climb in bed and almost just want to pet it as you drift off, it's so nice. The stitching is high quality and the King size is actually what it says it is. I gave a queen bed but always buy king blankets for full coverage, and this one absolutely covers my entire bed with draping on the sides and end. It's pretty dang big, really, but still manages to go in my definitely-not-large washing machine without issue. This machine has an agitator, and i often stick more delicate blankets in big zippered laundry bags to wash to protect them from tears and pulls, but it's frankly not been necessary for this quilt. I just dump it in, pour detergent, and go. If you have pets, the weave of this quilt is so close and smooth that my cat has been luxuriating on it for months now and you'd be hard-pressed to locate an obvious prick from her claws. And because it's so smooth and tightly woven, it doesn't get strands of fur trapped between the fibers, so a quick few swipes of a lint roller erases the evidence of her decadent languishing (and the sticky-tape lint roller I use doesn't pull up fuzz or fray threads from the smooth surface, either.) Highly recommend to keep you cozy but not overheated at night and wrapped in extremely touchable softness that will last for years.

Yall, I love this quilt so much that I’ve bought three in the past several years. Every time I get a new bed, I buy one of these again. The cotton fill is PERFECT for me as a hot sleeper. Most “cotton” quilts have polyester fill and I get too hot, but not this one. I probably bought the first one five or six years ago and the color is still lovely even after washing (and drying on low heat) twice a month since I got it. It’s pretty wrinkle resistant, I think, but I generally take it out of the dryer right away. The cotton just gets softer with age. I use it year round, though in the winter, I often add a thin waffle knit cotton/bamboo blanket, and it’s totally cozy and sufficient to keep me warm. The only slight drawback is that the twin doesn’t fit a twin XL great, but then it doesn’t promise to. Still, I used it on my twin xl during a temporary downsize and it was fine. Way better than sleeping with polyester. I’m not even anti-polyester, I just don’t like it for sleeping. I think it’s excellent value for the money.
