The media could not be loaded. We are absolutely thrilled with this retractable awning for our patio. After searching for the right sunshade solution, we decided on this one because of its classic design, and manual crank handle. The installation was straightforward with clear instructions but you need 2 people for installation. We were able to mount it on our deck wall without any special tools. Once installed, the awning extended and retracted smoothly using the crank handle, which feels sturdy and easy to operate. The UV- and waterproof polyester fabric provides excellent protection from the sun and light rain, allowing us to enjoy our outdoor space in more types of weather. The aluminum frame is lightweight yet strong, and it holds up well in breezy conditions. Even during warmer afternoons, the shaded area underneath stays significantly cooler, which makes a big difference when entertaining guests or relaxing outside. It really transformed our patio into a more livable and stylish space. It looks fantastic and has received several compliments from friends and neighbors.

At the end it looks great just like the picture, well almost. Honestly I decided to place the handle on the right side which requires you to reverse the complete assembly, in doing so I found every issue which was left out of the instructions. It started with finding a rebar support in the concrete header forcing me to move the unit up to the fascia, of course the tie beams don't match up exactly with the spacing of the two master brackets. This forced me to place the master brackets on the inside of the brackets that hold the spring loaded expansion assembly rods. This limits the complete closing of the cover. (I have a fix for that because we have strong winds in Florida) The end piece that holds one end of the cover and the flap are not well documented, and the picture does not help. While I may not be the brightest star in the sky, i am very thankful that I have some experience in assembly to have been able to solve this puzzle. I does make a big difference providing shade to a double glass door, the moving parts work well but please buy some pressure washers and lock nuts as the hardware provided is limited. I am pleased with the results and the price is a good deal.

Installation went OK. Make sure you have plenty of room to lay it out and take your time installing it. The directions aren’t the best but a little common sense goes a long ways.

The media could not be loaded. Heavy and solid. Easy enough to assemble, but I can’t install it alone. The instructions aren’t perfect but it’s easy enough to figure out. Just read through them all first and make sure A1 B1 and C1 line up together. I put one piece in backwards without knowing (instructions didn’t specify I checked). But near the end it showed it should be the other way. The color is nice and it’s heavy and good quality materials.
