    • Cleaner and easier to clean!
I really like this stainless steel litter box. It looks great and works well. With reduced odors and stickiness, cleaning is much easier. There are no leaks, and it seems very durable. The enclosure keeps everything contained, so there are no litter messes outside the box!

See the picture showing everything that is included. This stainless steel litter box is well made and durable. The plastic is of good quality and should last just as long as the litter box with proper care. Since I can't speak cat (or any animal), I can only observe what my cat does, and I have to say my cat likes using this litter box just as much as her current plastic one that is in the basement. My cat always had the plastic ones and at one point had an automatic cleaning one about fourteen years ago (my cat is up there in age as she is currently 20 and is still doing good). In conclusion, my cat likes this litter box, and I like how it is made of stainless steel so it is very durable and not heavy when it's empty. I didn't use the dampening pads, but even though the cleaning tool is plastic, it's not flimsy like some other ones that I've used in the past. ... show more

This is a good quality stainless steel litterbox. I have 2 cats (I already have an even larger stainless steel box), but the cat I recently adopted needed her own box. This one is Large (not jumbo) which works well for her, since she's a small cat that likes burying her excrement in the corners, and she needs enough space to do that effectively. My cat was using a metal pan that did not have side guards, so I ordered this one. Unfortunately, this one isn't as deep as my other one, so the sides are not making as much of a difference as I was hoping. I do enjoy the metal litter pans the best because they are easy to clean and do not retain smells. I have a female cat, so I do not have to worry about spraying or anything, but she loves to dig and kick up litter. (She's a weirdo!) I would HIGHLY recommend a metal litter box. After that, I would consider what size the footprint (length & width) need to be, and how high the sides need to be. Then you can decide about the sides. My first pan had small dimensions (so it was easier to fill deeply with less litter), and the sides were 6 inches tall. This litter box is well made and a nice, complete kit. The size is not too big and not too small. I like that it is not very tall and if necessary I could leave the plastic top off. The plastic top locks on easily but very securely. The stainless steel pan seems to be good quality. This should work perfectly to keep under our camper dinette seat so our cat can use it and our dog cannot get to the "treats" the cat leaves. ... show more
