This drill is impressive. It is strong for its size, tapers perfectly at the end for holding like a Sharpie, and does everything I need for modeling work. A true working collet chuck with different sizes. The battery lasts a long time for me too, charges quickly. A good hack for dealing with the different collets hassle or having the smallest ones strip out is to buy a "Craft911 Pin Vise Hand Drill" (See pictures) and take the chuck off the end to put on the drill. The threads are identical, and it works great. The little plastic nut (see picture) will stop the chuck from screwing down all the way and fully closing the chuck, which only affects really small bits. Either leave the plastic nut off (the screws still hold the drill together fine, sand the flat top off of the plastic washer off to give the chuck room (leaving just a plastic ring will still screw on to the drill and hold the end pieces together), or find a small enough washer to put inside the chuck so it starts off with more of a close and leaves enough threads on the drill shaft to fully close. Either way, it's a great drill for the money and replaced my old Dremel for routine tasks. Would definitely buy again!

I was very pleased with this drill when I first received it in July. I used it for the second time this weekend and it worked well for about 5 minutes, then would not turn off even when the lights showed it as off, then started getting hot. I had to remove the collet and the screws, open it up and rip the battery out of it (the battery was soldered in) before it would turn off. By this time it was too hot to handle without gloves. I've come to trust the Let's Resin brand over the past few years and so was quite disappointed with the quality of this drill. UPDATE - Let's Resin contacted me and will be replacing my drill with a new one. Hopefully it will work as expected. I've changed my review to 5 stars for now but will update it if needed after using the new drill.

While it could use a little more power, I'm giving it five stars because the power is appropriate for the price and size. I had been cracking resin pieces with a hand drill, and my household drill was unweildly. This was just right. I really like that it's rechargeable, too.

I bought this to help with making acrylic ornaments for Christmas. I used the drill then charged. Today I tried to use it again and it refused to turn off (even with all the indicator lights saying it was off) until it got insanely hot and stopped working all together. Update: I reached out to Lets Resin for support and didn't get much support after over a week of attempting get them video or pictures (what they were looking for I'm not sure since its a paper weight at this point). After the back and forth they stated that it was purchased 5 months ago which is true and was stated in the initial communication. I did not use the product until December as I didn't have a use. So if you decide to buy this use it immediately. The issue I have is they know this happens, as there are other reviews that describe exactly what happened and the company isn't willing to offer support other than a small refund (30%). I would have been more satisfied if they offered to repair the device or offered some sort compromise. I personally won't be a customer anymore.
