This little drill is great for any small type of craft or handy work. I have used it with resin and wood so far. I needed to drill pilot holes for a new truss rod cover in my guitar head and it worked like a charm. It is easy to use, charges fairly quickly and the charge lasted all the way through my project. The deburring tool works great and is very hefty—doesn’t feel like cheap junk. One nit is it would be nice to have a better way to store all of these pieces—they are easy to lose, especially the itty bitty drill bits (luckily I had an old plastic beading tube which worked great for storing the drill bits). The plastic storage for the chucks tells you what size they are, but it isn’t very handy—kinda fiddly to deal with the plastic and the chucks flying around (these two issues = 4 star rating). It does come in a nice box with padding, a charging cable, and instructions. The machine itself worked flawlessly and I’m so happy with the results. This would make a great gift for the handy friends and loved ones in your life. Overall an excellent value for the money—it has so many uses! ... show more

I use this drill for my polymer clay earrings. It came with so many different attachments plus I use mine to buff and sand my clay earrings. Its very easy to use and charge. Battery life is great plus it's very lightweight, I hold it like a pen. Battery lasted me 3 hours of sanding and buffing. Just one thing I noticed while working with baked clay pieces that when you're working with the smallest drill attachment, the machine shakes a little bit. This is not as powerful as a dremel, so if you're doing some heavy duty projects this little drill is not for you. However, I ordered it specifically to make holes in cured epoxy resin pieces for jewelry and it works really well for that purpose. I suspect it would be good for polymer clay and thin plastic as well. I like that this is small and easy to hold as well as being rechargeable.     • Very appropriate for resin, but not to be confused with a Dremel.
When I saw this, my first thought was "Oh, an underpowered Dremel." But then I thought about it for a little bit and realized that an underpowered Dremel was exactly what I needed for some resin mechanical keyboard projects I have. See, the thing is: I'm impatient. And when I use my good Dremel, I have a tendency to bump the power up. And then my impatience works against me, because resin can be kind of finicky to cut. So this tool actually forces me to use the appropriate power, which I appreciate. The included accessories are more or less all you need for basic resin projects that aren't too big. Of course, you'll want to get more consumables as you work with more stuff, but from what I tried, a lot of my Dremel stuff seemed to fit. ... show more
