WOW, I can hear
I'm 78 and I live a lone so my earring loss that apparently has be happening very gradually wasn't all that noticeable until about 6 months ago. I work a little part time job in a big box store and have been noticing that often I have to get employees & customers to speak louder. I thought it was bc of all the noise in the store from overhead music, forklifts etc. On a road trip this past week my daughter noticed she kept having to repeat herself and finally ask me if I needed a hearing aid. I told her I think I must. I got on Amazon and found these hearing devices and am VERY pleased with them. My advice to everyone that purchases them is to read the little small booklet that comes with them FIRST. I see some people have complained about them howling or screeching. When that happens it's bc you don't have them in the entrance to your ear canal properly. It's to alert you. Just work with them a little until you find the right positioning for YOUR particular ear canal. Also, do as advised in the booklet and start out with them turned down low until you get used to them. I'm hearing sounds in nature I didn't realize I was missing out on. I don't have to turn my tv up so loud like I've gotten used to. I was grocery shopping today and was hearing conversations that I normally haven't been able to hear. If you're like me and have never worn a hearing device before just be patient and allow yourself time to adjust and get used to them. Experiment with them as far as volumn in each ear. I promise the longer you wear them and more patience you are the easier it will be to adapt. At first you may find yourself a little startled when you suddenly start hearing things & sounds you hadn't noticed you were no longer hearing. Just go slow, be patient, give your ears, mind and emotions room to adapt. You'll love getting your life back. š P.S. Be sure to turn them off when charging P.S.S. I recommended these aides to my older sister & also a man from my church. Both were experiencing hearing loss and unable to afford to pay thousands of dollars for hearing aides. They BOTH bought them this week and are so happy with them.

They howl!!!
If you cup your hand and bring the hearing aid close, it howls. The same is true for the ear, which is a cup like shape. So, you must turn off the hearing aid or risk hearing damage, before inserting into the ear. The on switch, however is top tiny to find and flip when it is in the ear. If the hearing aid works loose it howls loudly. Clearly there is no electronic noise canceling. It uses passive mechanical noise canceling only. Because of this I sent it back, since the elder person can't keep the thing plugged perfectly through the day, like a younger person could. The cheaper behind the ear unit had a real noise canceling setting, and the separation of the mic from the speaker, helps reduce the howling top. Both have the passive noise canceling, typical of a $5 audio ear bud, since 2007. I think that a younger person would like these, but they would need to figure out how to insert the screaming unit without further damage to their hearing!!! They look great and the charging case is nice.

I am retired, and am 90% deaf in one ear, 30% in the other. I recently had an ear infection, and now my good ear is filled with fluid - making me legally deaf. This is why I have hearing aids, as my ear infections are chronic. I can tell there are sounds when they are loud enough, but thats it. I get on well enough without a hearing aid while I am at home. I also have a dog that alerts me to when somebody comes over, or my phone rings. But when I need to go out, I need to wear a hearing aid. I have found that it "upsets" people when I have to ask them to repeat themselves. Well, 11 1/2 months down the line, only using these hearing aids very few times - well under 15 times, using one at a time in the better ear. Now, one loses it's charge in less than 2 hours. The other will go for 4ish hours, but I have to "tap" it frequently to get it to work. This is VERY frustrating for me. I can't depend on them to work for the few measly hours I really need them. I expected more from an electronic item that costed near $100...after all, I still have an electronic alarm clock that still works, that I bought in 1995. I also have a pair of hearing aids from 1990 - Miracle Ear - that recently stopped working, but over 30 years is well worth the money spent for them, so I have an idea what premium hearing aids can do vs these. Noise cancelling? Not even close, but I expected that. Noise cancelling is not a cheap feature for hearing aids. I just desperately need the volume. What I didn't expect was the short period of use. I could have got a pair of $20 hearing aids and probably got the same quality, if not better. Hear I am now - can't hear a thing. I can read lips fairly well, but that doesn't help on the phone, or for unexpected conversations when I don't have hearing aids in at home.

Great OTC aids
These are great litle otc aids. I have moderate hearing lost and these are great.I am giving 4 stars because they are very small, and I need to use a tweezer to get them out of my ear as the little pull string attached is too short.

Easy to use volume is a little hard to adjust
The charger box is very well built these hearing aids for my small ear canals perfectly they are almost invisible in my ears the clarity is great no back ground noise what so ever just charge up adjust the volume for each ear and start hearing what you been missing the aids I hope are sturdy time will tell love these hearing aids very comfortable and light weight to wear no pain what so ever good buy for the price update these hearing aids charge easly still hearing clearly like the fact they come with the little screw drivers to adjust the volume great little buy for these hearing aids big difference in my hearing now and the noise cancelation is great on these aids update the left hearing aid died today can't recharge it won't to charge save your money and buy another hearing aid set

Fell apart
Worked ok. Would fall out of my ears and physically fell apart after one year. I bought them a second time and had the same experience. Iāve gone back to my old Beltone hearing aids

shipped and arrived exactly when they said it would. the item arrived partially charged so it can be tested and used straight out of the box. little to no set up as hearing aids already had ear domes already installed at ear end of hearing aids. different styles and sizes of ear domes included in packaging to better fit your ear. easy to adjust volume with included mini screwdriver. ready to use straight out of the box in minutes. great product for a person on a budget. highly recommened this product to anyone with some sort of hearing loss
