Great Hearing Aids! I have a set of Oticon hearing aids that I recieved from the VA, that I had to send in for repair. I (& the wife) didn't want me to go without hearing aids. I searched Amazon for a pair of reasonalbly priced hearing aids, that go behind the ear. After reading all the revies, so I bought the Bigprot Hearing aids. I really like them! They work well, and easy to use. True, it's a manual adjust for volume, not a bluetooth connectivity to my phone like the Oticon, but they are less than $100! I really like the simple on/off switch on them, when I go into a noisy environment that requries hearing protection, I turn my hearing aids off. When I recieved my Bigprot hearing aids, it came with three sizes of domes. These domes go in the ear canal, so you can recive the amplified sounds from the hearing aids, and if the domes don't properly fit the ear canal, you will get feed back (whistling sounds), and it's easy to change to domes, to determine the proper size for your ears. With proper size of domes, you get great sounds, with out the whistle feedback sound. I really like the little charging cube that comes with the hearing aids. It shows the internal battery strength, and displays when each hearing aid is being charged, plus it has enough of a charge to charge the hearing aids a couple of days, before you have to plug it back in. Needless to say, I'm impressed by these hearing aids. If I had found these hearing aids before dealing with the VA, I would of bought the Bigprot and never had gone to the VA for the hearing aids. If and when, my Octicon hearing aids get fixed and returned to my, I'm keeping my Bigprot hearing aids. Bottom line, buy these hearing aids, they work and are very affordable.

This 86 yr old just got plain lucky. After an agonizing search as you are also going through I somehow stumbled on to BigProt hearing aid M805. It had what I wanted: single sound control that is easy to move up or down with no clicks or beeps to tell you what volume you are, a case that would charge the hearing aids( and this one even tells when each aid and the case are charged) and the charging case had to have a lid. Above all, it had to have excellent service backing here in the USA. The start up was simple and went flawless. I let it charge up the first time the recommended 5-6 hours. The first time usage is disobeyed them and turned it on and left the volume in the lowest position. The aid went on my ear without any trouble. I turned the volume up and wow- they are good with no background cruntching, growling, hissing , just pure sound. I use these in my living room to watch TV and once again I can hear what is being said--- I noticed last night (second usage) I had the TV volume turned way down to where I normally had to keep it. Now, listen up! I was puzzled about this aid not having specific settings for background noise such as "indoors, restaurants" etc. but so far in my watching tv it does a wonderful job. What I did see before I purchased and put faith in the company it is true is that they have a AI chip to handle background noise. If you have done your research you know that is the best as the aid determines itself how to handle background noise. BigProt service has already contacted me and made it very clear- they are there for me to handle any problem. And as Forest Gump said" and thats all I got to say about that--- BigProt M508 works wonderful for me. Good Luck in your search.

Bought these for my hard of hearing elderly mother. She has some prescription hearing aids that use the small batteries. So was looking for a decent but wallet friendly rechargeable hearing aids. Settled on these mainly because the reviews were good and they were 50% off and priced at $99. The hearing quality is just as good as her prescription aids. The problem is the volume nobs. My mom could not manipulate the roller to increase / decrease the volume. Her hands are just not agile enough. That might of been able to be worked with but every time she tried to adjust the volume, her hands stayed to close to the aids for to long and a feed back loop would start. This caused a ear splitting high pitched ringing blast! A few attempts of this and she firmly said NO MORE. And I dont blame here. The ringing was loud enough for it to almost hurt my own ears and I was standing a couple of feet from her. I tried them on and I was able to adjust the volume quick enough to not get the feed back scream. The sound quality was just as good as her other aids. Though there was a underlying static sound. Not enough to be distracting but I heard it. Id guess if you are needing these, you wouldnt hear it at all. In any event, had to return them as they are un usable by they person they were intended for. I dont know if this company does it to cause people who return their item grief, but unlike all other returns where you can take a photo of the QR and let the people at UPS scan it off your phone, this companies return process requires you to print the return label and the battery warning label. This despite them boasting about their easy and quick return process.

Five Stars Away!!!! I'm a Male 75 year old senior I purchased the Bigprot M802 hearing aids for me. I had never found a pair at this price that has so many pluses over others I have tried and returned. These hearing aids are so lightweight, easy to use and extremely comfortable. As a teen, I ran a chainsaw. As an adult, Loud industrial equipment. As a service technician, I could hear frequency deviations, helping find the root problems of malfunctioning high-frequency industrial drives. Hearing started going @ age 50 with Tinnitus. Our health care plan covered hearing aids, so at age 55, I went top of the line with a Signia unit, which may help with Tinnitus. They didn't, but Bluetooth allowed them to connect to my cell phone, plus adapt to different locations through the Signia App. Signia even replaced them when they quit working. One year past the warranty, one went out a 2nd time. Instead of another $1,000+ copay ($3,500 without coverage) for a new pair, I researched them on Amazon. The Bigprot M802 Hearing Amplifier arrived charged. The sound is incredible out of the box. No sound came out of the right unit after switching on; (the volume was turned all the way down which is basically "off") Now the heading. Given my knowledge base, I've been asked over the last 30 years for recommendations for a hearing aid. Even after getting the Signia set 4 years ago, I never felt comfortable recommending any unit due to price. Too many people bought into something that wasn't fulfilled. After using this set for one day, I offered them to our pastor, who had asked me for my recommendations just 3 months ago. He has tried them and said they work great. I guess I'll be getting another set (-: Pros: Cost, Charging speed; Charger in Case; Charger display; Discreet, Analog Volume Control, on/off. Cons: No Bluetooth; No Brand Name, Increased Latency Conclusion: The latency is nominalized by using the supplied earbuds. I could only tell when I used my working Signia with the Bigprot unit in the other ear. These completely block ambient noise, allowing the amplified sound to be pure with no latency echo. (took Signia out and used both Bigprot's) For the savings that come with this $80 set, I can easily adapt to working without a Bluetooth connection. I WILL/WOULD Highly Recommend the Bigprot M802 Hearing Amplifier.

These hearing aids were not bad, but the case is very hard to open there should’ve been something near where you could just flip it open because it’s hard to get it open ? The only other thing is that you do have background noise and it’s very hard to turn down or turn up the volume so they were probably worth the cost that I paid for him, but I did have to return one set because within a week when my right side, you’re the one wasn’t working at all so Amazon did replace it but just wanted to give you a heads up. Thank you.! That’s why I tried to leave them open. Because my wife can’t even get them open thanks again.?

They are the best OTC hearing aids I have ever used. For a little while. The first set I bought lasted 6 weeks. I thought it might be a fluke, so I ordered another pair. They lasted a little over 2 weeks. They are excellent while they last...but both sets not working in a few weeks is a red flag for me. I ordered a different brand.

The Bigprot Rechargeable Hearing Aids are an absolute steal at $69.99, offering impressive value and functionality that rivals much more expensive models. My father, who is in his 90s, has found them incredibly convenient and easy to put on, and he's particularly impressed by the clear sound quality they provide. The design is a major plus; they are substantial enough that he can easily locate and handle them despite his limited eyesight, and the compact charging case makes them a breeze to carry around. He also appreciates the modern convenience of the USB-C charging port, which is much easier for him to plug in than older styles. His only minor complaint is that the battery percentage indicator on the case is a bit too small for him to read comfortably, but overall, this has been a fantastic, user-friendly solution for his hearing needs.
