Like many people, I had put off purchasing hearing aids because of the exorbitant cost of them in the past. When I found out there are now reasonably priced hearing aids that are also USB chargeable (no more tiny batteries), I decided to try them since my brother had done so and was very happy with his. - Using them does take some practice and adjustments. I normally just use one at a time, since I only have a slight hearing loss and mostly needed clarification, clearer diction, of what was being said (less garbling) rather than much increased volume. This set accomplishes that. (Hint: put your name & phone # on each of them, and the case. I once worked at a senior center with a box full of lost, expensive hearing aids! Use a fine tip Sharpie.) Update 8/23/21: Received 7/16/21 - I’ve been wearing the OneBridge Hearing Aids all day long (15+ hours) for over 5 weeks now and they provide superior quality with a gradually progressive volume range between 0 to 4. I have a large perforated left eardrum and can hear clearly every word spoken at volume level 3. I have moderate severe hearing loss in my right ear and am able to hear clearly at level 1. These aids are just as good as aids costing in the thousand of dollars. I highly recommend them. Original Review OneBridge Hearing Aids for Seniors I have been wearing the OneBridge hearing aids from 12 to 16 hours a day for the last 10 days before writing this review. Unlike other OTC hearing aids, these came fully assembled with the tubing and earplug installed. After I ensured all items were in the package and read the small instruction booklet, I then charged the hearing aids per the instructions in the booklet. I’m 70 and always suffered from severe hearing loss. For the pass 40 plus years I have worn several high-end hearing aids plus since early retirement a few OTC hearing aid amplifiers. I wore them when I absolutely needed them since I usually felt irritation in my ear canals. To my surprise these hearing aids are very comfortable and the sound quality and volume are as good as my latest Rexton pair I last owned over a year ago. I tested the different mode which work as advertised as well as the volumes which I set to Level 1 on my right ear and 2 on my left. Without aids I am constantly asking people to repeat themselves and with most OTC aids I have trouble understanding the dialogue on TV even with the volume on high. These OneBridge hearing aids are really great. I watch TV with the TV volume set low and can understand every word spoken as well as even in group conversations. All the various settings work as advertised and although I haven’t tested to ensure the battery actually last for 80 hours, I used them comfortably with no irritation for 12 to 16+ hours a day for 4 days straight without suffering any hearing degradation before deciding to recharge them. One minor observation I notice concerning a couple of reviews that I read, if one of the hearing aids stops working, it’s most likely that you accidentally grazed the volume control and set to level 0. This happened to me and luckily I discovered the problem right away. There is actually 5 gradually increasing volume levels starting at level 0 (volume off) and gradually increasing up to level 4, meaning that if you have them set to level 2 and are in a situation where you need to increase the volume and level 3 is a bit too loud you can actually increase the volume slightly up anywhere between level 2 and 3 to suit your comfort level. This is a great feature. I consider these hearing aids to be of very high quality and highly recommend them. ... show more

    • Controls too small for old people's hands
Mom needs hearing assistance, there's no doubt. Once she put these on, she found she could not adjust them herself, couldn't see the numbers to make adjustments, didn't understand about cycling through the different sound clarification options and could not hear the notification beeps because they are above the frequencies she can hear. One day after getting everything adjusted as well as I could, the dog barked and she ripped them off fast saying everything is too loud. I just can't win, so we're looking at professional hearing exam and then reviewing choices for her. ... show more

This product looks good and everything and I bought it for a neighbor of mine because he was getting hard of hearing and he wanted the ones that go behind the ears not the ones you can stick in the ear which I'd prefer to have gotten that one for him but he didn't want it and now he says that this particular piece hurts behind his ears on the left side and it hurts when you put it in the air so I told him to go to the ear doctor and there was nothing wrong with it his ear of course is what I'm talking about but the actual hearing aid it really just doesn't fit his big ear on the left side and it pokes in the side of it his ear and it hurts him and in the back end it's just very uncomfortable for him and he's getting sores from it so he cannot wear it he wears the right ear but he can't use the left so I'm sorry it it's not really working out great for him sorry ... show more

I have been having a problem with my hearing for many years now and finally decided to do something about it! I honestly had tried two other manufacturers before finding this one. I have to say that right out of the box I was very impressed with how comfortable these are. Turned them on And love that they have options to control volume and mode. Another thing that i like is that I wont have to try and get them set just right on charger...just plug in (has charging light) and charge. I would suggest these over more expensive ones and believe you will be very pleased. Update gave my first pair to a family member who could not hear with expensive hear aids they had. The joy and excitement of watching them hear for the first time in many years was priceless. This person was very happy ( almost in tears with joy ) because they were able to actually be included in a conversation which hadn’t happened in years. This person had also been know to lose the expensive ones because they didn’t fit well was also a surprise to them to not have any problems keeping these ones in their ear. And being these cost much less then the others, a spare pair or replacement pair was not out of reach for them. I was impressed that after even an hour of time that sounds like a squeaking door ( which had not been heard before ) now were heard like for the first time. I would highly recommend these to anyone needing help with their hearing. And like I did and will do again in the future when needed will buy these again! ... show more
