So this is actually a black piece of plastic and on the back of it there is a hole that the magazine spring anchors to (as with the stock 50 round magazines that you can purchase online) and fits flawlessly into the mag. I used it to replace the spacer that comes in the stock 30 round magazine that comes in the box with the PS90. All I had to do was snap off the 30 round spacer and snap on this product exactly the same way. I'd rather do it this way, with the magazine spring having a place to anchor on the plate than just sawing off the spacer and for the 30 round magazine and using the bottom of the spacer as the plate (there is no way to anchor the magazine spring to the baseplate once you saw off the spacer). I'd certainly get this again. ... show more

    • Almost perfect!
I installed this part as received, would only allow 49 rounds to be loaded. Removed it, milled approximately 1/2 of the thickness from the edge, finishing with hand tools as the printed plastic doesn't mill well. I didn't attempt to mike the remaining thickness. Be sure to allow for the curvature of the magazine spring at front and rear. Once modified, 50 rounds could be loaded although the last round was somewhat harder to load than in my other factory FN 50-round magazines. So, as the title says, "Almost perfect!", hence 4 stars instead of 5. Some fitting required, nothing that can't be done with a hand file and patience (NO, NOT a Dremel... the destroyer of parts, the "hammer of Bubba"! lol). Beats cutting the 30 round spacer and having nothing to attach the bottom of the spring to. If I need to mod another PS90 magazine, I would buy this part again. ... show more
