Watching TV and one on one conversations are good. When riding in a car it amplifes every little noise even on the muffled setting. Using these as a substitute until my regular aides are repaired.

Though these are not as hidden as other hearing aids, they are great for hearing sounds that I normally cannot without them. With suffering from a slight hearing loss from years of working in loud noise areas. these hearing aids allow me to hear sounds that are normally foreign in my world. Love these for bring sound back into my life.

I got this Hearing aids, Hearing Aids for Seniors, Rechargeable with Noise Cancelling, Digital Hearing Amplifier for Hearing Loss, Invisible Hearing Aid, and Ear Sound Amplifier for myself. I have tried many such type devices, but I finally have got the right one, "This One". I liked the looks of it right out of the box. The construction and material used was top notch. I find it to be a Sturdy casing, not like the eggshell type I have experienced with the others. I found the instruction manual easy to understand (I am 71 years old). I like that it is rechargeable, no batteries too buy. I liked the placement of the controls, big enough for my fingers to find, and discern which control it is. I liked the assortment of ear domes, and found that their biggest one, did fit me well. I have been wearing it for several days now, and I really hear the difference, this puts my old device to shame. I found it easy to charge, and in my case, it must have come almost fully charged, as it did not take long, for the green charging light to go off, indicating that it was fully charged. I enjoy the different mode settings, and I have used them. In my opinion, this is a Quality device, and at a great price.

Technically, I guess this can be called a 'hearing aid' because it will aid your hearing, but it's more of an 'sound amplifier' because it amplifies sound (and it does that well). It amplifies everything. It is light enough that I forget I'm wearing it. I've heard sounds I haven't heard in a while, like a cat purring, a clock chiming in the other room, birds chirping, and I can even turn off the closed captioning on the tv. These claim to be 'IPX5 waterproof' and I had to look that up but long story short they can handle a low stream of water like from a kitchen sink, so they should be okay going from, say, the car to the house in the rain. The directions recommend not to wear these too long and to take it off and rest every 30 minutes but don't explain why that is necessary, so every so often I turn it off for a while without removing it (but it's easy to forget to do that). After turning it off, the difference in sound is obvious and immediate. I still fumble a little bit when trying to adjust the volume or mode without taking it out to look at the tiny little switches but it's working out well.
