Wonderful little amp. I originally had the Fender mini-amp, and there's barely any comparison- this unit is way better, there's almost no comparison. Why the Orange Crush is Great: Great sound. Perfect for filling one room, or small gigs. It does distort at high volume, but for practice you can move to headphones if you need to examine your sound more closely. Great build quality. This thing is heavy. It's made of metal and covered in what feels like a coated canvas, it's both adorable and feels durable enough for real gigs. Lots of controls. You have tone and volume, as usual. You have an Overdrive button that drastically increases volume and distortion. There's a button to force the unit off, otherwise it will detect when an instrument cable is plugged in to save battery power. There's even a tuner- how many amps have a tuner? Carry options. Has screw-on feet if you want it on a desk, or knobs to screw into the sides if you want to hang it from a guitar strap for carry or mobile gigs. I could see a street performer hanging the orange over one shoulder and their guitar over the other. Compared to the Fender Mini: Same power options (9v or barrel jack), but barrel jack is included with the Orange. MUCH better build quality- BY FAR. The Orange is made of canvas and metal, the Fender was made of terrible plastic. More controls. Overdrive, tuner, auto-power. Negatives: Sound distorts mightily at any volume. You won't get a perfect clean sound at any volume unless Overdrive is off and Tone is all the way down. This amp really wants to crank up and get a little dirty, which is just fine for practice and jamming for most people. Listen to some demos online if you want a really clean sound. Not even a negative, the headphone jack is only a 3.5mm, instead of guitar jack 1/4" size. That's a little unusual for amps. I'm guessing they ran out of room for components and stuck the 3.5mm on the back- it's fine. Just be aware. Overall: This unit is pricier than "starter" amps like the Fender Mini, but the Fender is cheap Chinese (expletive) compared to this. Just holding the Orange in your hand and it's so heavy from the metal components, the canvas front is gorgeous. Absolutely go for the Orange if it's in your price range- it's a great little amp to jam on. ... show more

I love this product and the seller (Texas Guitar Ranch) as well! First the Amp: I travel about 30% of the time. I like to practice several times a day. When traveling I do not always have a large Amp to work with and this fits in my bag easily with my stage ninja and a headset. The Amp is not going to allow you to play for a large crowd, but works well for practice in your room. If you add a good headset the sound is even better and you can rock your day away. I recommend it highly as a practice Amp and travel practice Amp. Now for the Texas Guitar Ranch seller: The Amp did not come with the 9 volt plugin that I had paid for, so I emailed the seller. They fell all over themselves apologizing and got the missing plugin out to me super fast. Plus they added a 10 foot guitar cable to show how badly they felt. I am beyond pleased with this purchase. It was so much better than I expected it to be. I just purchased a 2020 Camry, and this fits the truck like it was custom made for it. It goes up the sides a bit so if there is a spill it would be contained. When it arrived it was folded in half and I had my doubts that it would lay flat, but it was perfect! ... show more

My man loved this! He doesn’t get to practice his electric guitar as much as he would like because he would have to bring him large amp to/from his practice space... and his amp is super loud! This is perfect, he was so impressed that it has the tuning, headphone jack, and the overall sound quality (I’m hoping I wrote those correctly because I have never personally used an amp)! ... show more
